  1. Considering they're one of the most well known bands on the planet, I doubt they really need to publicise themselves. ;) Was this tongue in cheek or?
  2. Is it just me or do Coldplay songs have ridiculously stupid title these days? Spanish Rain wtq? What happened to the good hold days of Shiver and uh, ahem, Yellow.
  3. Since when do musicians interview/give Playboy time? (or vice versa o.O)
  4. Already seen it but yes, Ólafur <3
  5. Damn you crappy website! What's not to love about that cover? Really? ;)
  6. I love these all for different reasons:
  7. I'd not advise venturing to the Muse boards then :P I dunno. I just find it irritating that the track is played live so much when it's not that good. There's so many piano songs they could play instead which they just don't e.g. Sunburn, Space Dementia, Ruled by Secrecy.
  8. That is a God-Awful list. *Shakes head at Brits*
  9. Not really. I just decide that they must be stupid. ;)
  10. Why's that a surprise? Feeling Good is hated by a lot of Muse fans. It's not bad... just overplayed, and it really sounds out of place on Origin.
  11. Was this sarcasm? Or do you honestly hate people because of their music taste? o.O
  12. I love Micro Cuts and Screenager. It dips simply because of Feeling Good for me and then rises again with Megalomania.
  13. Muse's best album (OOS) with their best song (Citizen Erased) was released that year. Therefore, it's automatically an important year for me in musical terms.
  14. One of the greatest songs of all time imo. Epicness personified. Anesthetize is great to drum to as well but I agree that it drags (the third section is pants).
  15. Not yet. I'll borrow it offa mate.
  16. Mothership is their best song. The whole trance-metal thing is a bit silly though - he screams too much. They should just call themselves post-hardcore which is what they essentially are. And they're good.
  17. I have Music Has the Right to Children but still need to get into it. I got into them through the song Dayvan Cowboy (like a n00b) ages ago though.
  18. I feel cheated on by all the others that have commented your profile then. It's like whoring rudeness. I thought I was the one.
  19. I don't have to look very deep to see that you're being a **** to people.
  20. I don't care if I've offended anybody. That's the point of forums. :laugh3: (I'm only half-joking) Ironically I don't mind the songs you mentioned. But seriously, I don't understand how 42 can be complex. Other than the intro and the outro there's only about 2 chords played through the whole song.
  21. Good choice in Time (which I think I chose too) but I'd choose different songs for Jeff Buckley, Radiohead and Arcade Fire. I agree with the Sufjan song too. :)

    That's the cover? Gorgeous stuff.
  23. Of the album tracks: Sparks - It's still a snorefest for me. Music to be played in a café in the background. We Never Change - Same as above A Whisper - Sounds like an attempt to be like Radiohead. A bit of Noise Rock in there. I don't like it though. Fix You - I did like this song, before Radio 1 overplayed it to death and it just became very irritating. The Hardest Part - This song has always been just a little bit crap. Swallowed in the Sea - Originally my favourite off the album it was on, now one of my least favourites. It's catchy, repetive and annoying. Lost! - Another that went from like to extreme annoyance. It's such a blatant U2-esque track that I just can't bear it anymore. It's anthemic, yes, but I'm pretty bored of anthemic. 42 - My least favourite Coldplay lyrics ever. The chorus of "You thought you might be a ghost!...made it close" is also really irritating after a while. Strawberry Swing - I still don't get the hype behind this track. Plus it also reminds me of boring Sundays with my grandmother, so that's possibly why. --- Well, there we go. I'm a fusspot but looking back, that at least means I at least like/can tolerate virtually all of Coldplay's album tracks. Rush of Blood only has 1 track up there, which is somehow liberating for me. I now realise how much I enjoy the album played in order.
  24. Best or favourites? I'll try and go somewhere in between I guess. 2. Amplifier - Airborne 3. Pink Floyd - Time 4. Radiohead - Paranoid Android 5. Jeff Buckley - Grace 6. Porcupine Tree - Arriving Somewhere, but Not Here 7. Opeth - Blackwater Park 8. Muse - Citizen Erased 9. Sigur Rós - Untitled 3 10. Clannad - Promentory
  25. You're just being obnoxious now. Especially since you've clearly not even heard the band. Start being a little nicer to people, perhaps people won't patronise you back.
