  1. Gisi! No, I wasn't. And it's unlikely I ever will be.
  2. The Florida State v. Miami game. The Orange Bowl!
  3. I've had such a battle today. I listened to The Mars Volta's De-Loused in the Comatorium and got really into that ... and I'm always a little drained when I devote too much of my processes to that album ... ... but then I listened to Aretha Franklin's new album ... and while nowhere near as good as the Mars Volta, it was a very nice album ... a great surprise. And surprises are sweet.
  4. Oh ... that is really cool ... a rain in which you can wear a short sleaved shirt ... I miss them now.
  5. Whoa! New avatar! Cool nostalgic!
  6. Bob Marley - Could You Be Loved
  7. The Mars Volta - Roulette Dares This album is sick! The vocals ... The drums (insane!) ... the lead guitar ... Damn.
  8. I've never seen so many people virtually blush at once.
  9. I would opine that pop music doesn't evolve the same way classical music does. From the little I know of classical music, it can be classified in terms of "breakthroughs." Pop music has not been like that. It seems to be a slow, constant evolution from African rhythms to American Blues to Jazz to Rhythm and Blues from which we now have a ton of offshoots, be it mainstream pop, rock, country, gospel, etc. Just my view. People talk about Chuck Berry being a hugh breakthrough for moden music. I can't speak to that. Pretty much pre-Beatles I'm a retard.
