  6. Paris isn't a city ... it's a horny hotel heiress from New York with a burdgeoning porn career. Paris is the heiress of romance/love.

Is that a picture of you, Sarah? j/k ... just thinking back to old times.
  16. Sex does burn a ton of calories. I was on that workour once ... not so much marathong sex (although that happened occasionally) as much as a lot of repetitions. It definitely helped.
  17. First, the reason why I'm posting this: 1. I want to find out what people have listened to this year. I want to round out my listening interests and experiences, and I feel that posting a list like this to tell you what I like and how much I liked it you'll be more likely to take an avid interest in this topic. I want to hear your suggestion, get the music, and be able to say "Yeah, they were right." 2. I want a good discussion, and while it's not a fact I love, giving people something they can disagree with is a great way to stimulate a discussion. I actually look forward to the "Who can you rate X ahead of Y?" 3. I am incredibly pretentious. OK, my personal rules for this thread: 1. While I will discuss my choices (the whys of the rankings), I'll try not to comment on your personal suggestions. I want you to feel free to suggest anything to me without fear of ridicule. Frankly, I want a good discussion, good questions, and good suggestions: 1. Hail to the Thief, Radiohead 2. Elephant, The White Stripes 3. The Black Album, Jay-Z 4. Fever to Tell, The Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs 5. De-Loused in the Comatorium, The Mars Volta 6. Think Tank, Blur 7. Audioslave, Audioslave 8. The Diary of Alicia Keys, Alicia Keys 9. 18. Pushups are the best. Vary the distance apart you keep your hands for well forms pectorals. Vary where you have your hands in reference to your shoulders to change the work between the biceps and triceps. For increased resistence ... just do more pushups. Do them on your knuckles, one handed, throwing yourself off the grounds as high as you can (clapping pushups). Elevate your feet to put more of your weight distribution towards the front ... pushups are all you need, and you can do them anywhere. Do tons of pushups and you'll get that V shape ladies like. Your shoulders are very importance to your posture and appearance. Working them hard will go a long way. Be sure to keep you abdominals tight while you do them so you can also tone your midsection. Combine pushups with situps and running and there's your routine.
  19. I don't think there's a particular type of movie that I like ... I like all movies. The movies I've enjoyed the most this year are Return of the King, Mystic River, 21 Grams, Elf, Last Samurai, Master and Commander, Love Actually, In America, Lost In Translation ... pretty close to in that order. I actually see a lot of movies. I think I've seen over 40 this year. I just like the whole experience of going to a movie ... seeing the end of product of so many people's works. I tend to be kind of pretentious about them, though, which is sad considering I'm not involved in the business in any way. What about you?
  20. I don't mind things which are different or eclectic, but Lurhman's presentations seem different for the sake of being different, not for a reason which I can see advancing the story. Kubrick was always different, but it was always in towards the story. Lurhman's presentation, to me, takes away from the story he is trying to tell. For some people, his presenation my be part of the story, but I don't think it works out, in the end. In the end, his choices ended up taking away from the characters in Moulin Rouge, and that in turn midigated the love story.
  21. I haven't enjoyed any of Lurhman's efforts to this point. It's just not my thing at all. Moulin Rouge, to me, was the most overrated movie of that year. I didn't see in it what other people did.
  22. ^8.2 8+2=10
  23. A smurf groped you? They're three apples high. Did they grope your shin?
