I agree, people need to learn to separate things If I see it from a subjective point of view: Coldplay is better in my view because their music means more to me than The Beatles, but I'd like to think I'm not so narrow minded. The Beatles have changed the music scene and have influenced not only ordinary people but lots of musicians as well. Their songs are timeless, they were created in the 60's and they have still the same relevance and meaning even to people who were born long after the band broke apart. Moreover, they have been covered countless times, they are just part of culture.

I know it's stupid, but the guy on TV just said and I quote. "Viva la Argentina! Viva La Vida! oh, eso es una mariposa volando y eso que es un día de lluvia" :bomb: "Viva la Argentina! Viva La Vida! oh, that's a butterfly flying, even if it's a rainy day" (it's a TV show where they have cameras all over the country in squares, parks and such and so they show live random images of people and places and they were showing an image of one of those places at the time) it sounds a bit stalkerish :laugh3: so many Coldplay references in my head :bomb:
