  1. enserio? en cuál? Really, which one? I don't usually buy the paper... I thought he wasn't a big football fan, but again...it's the World Cup, even my mother watches the matches...so:D:vuvuzela:
  2. laga replied to will16's topic in Coldplay
The "Viva" sound is quite unique, I think it's still Coldplay and at the same time it distinguishes them from anybody else, I hope their new material has the same vibe to it. Reading about the making of LP5 makes me really anxious:wreck: LOL, I need it! I can't wait ! Anyways, there are several months ahead before we can listen to it...
Después me pude correr x suerte.
  7. This is true for me too! it all started with Trouble, I loved Parachutes & AROBTTH too but I didn't consider myself a "fan". Later I saw the "Planet Rock Profile 2005" that was aired when they released X&Y and I totally loved the fact that they seemed really nice, funny and down to Earth and that made me like them even more, I also thought the accoustic versions of the songs were superb...needless to say I was already hooked by the time the show finished...:D
  10. exactly! It wasn't until about a month after the show that I could start watching the videos without getting over-emotional, and I'm still working on it:)...I can't help it...It's a mixture of pure happiness and nostalgia...
  11. My sister is a big fan of Latin music and she's not really into Coldplay. In fact, she's always telling me how their music is depressing and too slow and all that. The thing is when I went to buy my ticket for their Buenos Aires concert, my sister came with me since she was meeting a friend nearby, so we met him and she told him that before going to wherever they were going they had to go with me to buy tickets for a concert and he asked " Yeah, no problem, what concert is it? " My sister and me: "the Coldplay concert" The guy turned to me and said with a disgusted expresssion " you like Coldplay?" Me: "Yeah, so?" Him:" They're gay, their music is gay bla, bla bla..." I just stared at him but remained silent since I thought such a stupid comment did not even deserve an answer, but then my sister surprised me by saying " Well, she likes them, what's the problem? and they're not gay they're married, the singer, Chris Martin is married to Gwyneth Paltrow. Even if they were gay I don't see the problem. They have good songs, I wouldn't listen to like a whole album, but they do make good music and I like a few of their songs." ( which is true, she likes "clocks", "In my Place" and some others) Her friend just said "well, it's fine if you like them..." she put him in his place! I was just :stunned: Who would say she would end up standing up for them? :D Later she went with me to the concert and said it was a great concert and that she had a great time. She's still not a fan, though and although she keeps on making those little comments about their music and all that I know she does it more to annoy me than anything else.
