Gorillaz lost against Paramore in the Best Alternative category. That's ridiculous, how does Paramore fit in the "alternative" anyway? I prefered when MTV chose the winners. Those were some good times

That Damon & Jamie hate is really stupid. I mean, they create all this kind of nonsensical stories, believing themselves that they have some credibility. Pathtetic. Oh, CockleHocker, if you get to meet Smoggy, can you tell him he is the best bodyguard ever xD?

If anybody wants to give a shot of drawing the Evangelist, i suggest you read this. From a user of G-U, he posts how the evangelist should look and why. It's totally awesome and you can draw it following that text. Since he says he doesn't posses a good artistic skill, he lets everyone draw text inspired: "I was cursed with a good imagination, but a lack of any artistic skill. Since I won't be able to enter in the contest, I'll just make a description. The Boogieman is the embodiment of technology used for greed. It is, in essence, good things that were soured. A golden age turning to chaos. It is a gas mask, a robe and gloves hiding nothing but bare bones; mystery and fear covering the bare-bones evil in the world. The only thing it is ever shown directly attacking is the fat cop, who is helpless and... Well... Fat. When it was put against capable opponents in On Melancholy Hill and the Rhinestone Eyes animatic, it fled. In Rhinestone Eyes, it uses lackeys to do its work. The Boogieman is a coward, hiding behind others. That's beside the point, though. The Boogieman can be identified by its gas mask. That is its defining feature. Everything else changes depending on the situation. So, why is this gas mask such a defining feature? Let's jump back about a century to World War One. Many would say that the technological revolution began here. This is where the world went into the unrest that dominated the 20th century, continuing to today. So, what were some of the huge technological pushes in WWI? Fighter planes, for one. Another was trench warfare. The telephone was also put into military use. Oh, and gas weapons. Mustard gas received heavy usage by the Central Powers. To combat this, the Triple Entente started handing out simple gas masks. Gas masks. At the possible start of the twentieth century technological push. Let's take a look at one of these standard issue gas masks, then let's compare them to The Boogieman's gas mask. The resemblance is uncanny. The Boogieman's "face" is something that comes from the beginning of a downfall. So, what would be a good face for The Evangelist? Well, we first need to find a time period. Something that took ignorance and hatred and began to do away with it. The Renaissance springs to mind. So, what started the Renaissance? Believe it or not, most historians see The Black Plague as the beginning of The Renaissance. It killed seventy five million people, but not all was lost. There were fewer laborers, meaning the people who were left were able to demand higher wages. Now that people were as a whole wealthier, they were able to engage in more recreational activities. Art, science and invention all sprung to life once again during this European golden age. What could be used as a mask, and could also relate to The Black Plague; the start of The Renaissance? Here's an idea: Isn't that lovely? This was worn by Plague Doctors during the Black Plague. Along with the mask, they also wore a wide brimmed hat, not unlike this one. My image of The Evangelist is a sort of Plague Doctor, wearing all white. The edge of the white hat is trimmed in gold to give the appearance of a halo. The Evangelist wears a golden belt. The Evangelist is a skeleton, like The Boogieman, though its bones are clean and unmarked. The Evangelist carries a tall mahogany shepherd's crook to symbolize it as the guiding force away from The Overload. Like The Boogieman, The Evangelist has no visible gender."

Seriously, Kindergarden... that's all i'm gonna say xD. Oh some good news: Doncamatic has been playlisted in the B-List of Radio 1, and has been on heavy rotation on the Australian and Dutch radio stations. This is good, it's going on a good pace and it's still two weeks left from the release. If they get A-List, it'll be safe to say that they got a hit.

I draw something that could go with the themes of the evangelist, but i'm not posting it here. It looks like some kind of kindergarden drawing. Why didn't they give you an option of posting something you scanned? Would make more sense Plus, i'm using Firefox, and it's buggy as hell. And the tools the give you are just ridiculous, Paint has more than this xD.

Because of Halloween: ZOMBIE DAMON: HEWLETT'S SUPER PUMPKIN: Some reports of the show mentioned that everybody (or most of them) was wearing costumes. For example, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble had masks on their faces.

So yeah, tonight Gorillaz will perform at Oakland, and there was a lot of expectation at this gig, for the simple fact that Del tha Funkee Homosapien might do a surprise appearance for Clint Eastwood. Well, it looks he won't be there: But Brookdale is only an hour away from Oakland so you never know.

It has finally arrived: The seller is a really awesome guy: -Firstly, the original jewel case from the CD was a little broken so he bought me one to put the CD, booklet and cover-back cover in the new one. -And then i thought he would just buy the regular edition, but he actually got the US edition, which has 4 extra tracks: *M1A1 *Left Hand Suzuki *19/2000 (Soulchild Remix) *Clint Eastwood (Ed Case Refix) The first time i actually ordered him something was the Plastic Beach record, and because he knew he was going to deliver the CD the day of my birthday, he ordered the Experience Edition (later on i just bought the regular edition, just because i love to have the two covers). I'm really going to thank the guy one day.

Well, it's intense, which makes you feel like drinking more beer. And in the Gorillaz universe, White Light is a beer xD:

I'm going to recommend you something: -Start drinking beer at the beginning of White Light. -Then do some drunken dance at DARE. I analized this and thought it was a good idea if you have some beer in hand. Oh, enjoy the record ;)

Jeff is a member of that new band Liam formed, Beady Eye i think. Plus, Simon Tong was at the recordings of Demon Days and Plastic Beach, so it's fair enough for him to perform at the tour.
