Well,no. To me its just an average song. What bothers mainly is the trend of being to repetetive.. -carry our world ... -para,para.... -waaa,waaa,waterfall... I also dont see why the guitar-riff should be something special. Bucklands level can be much higher,like in AROBTTH(the song). With a good chourus the song would have been so much better imo...

My first thoughts after listening to Atlas twice: 1. Have to hear it together with the movie 2. Its not that catchy as i hoped it would be 3. The "carry your world"-Part is a bit to repetetive to me 4. Jonnys guitar part isnt that "epic" as many describe it 5. In the end,its a very relaxing song and that is a fact which helps me to forget about the negative aspects...

maybe the minority.. but what i´ve heard so far (!) doesnt really touch me :( To me the song goes nowhere, at least what i heard in the preview... I hope there will be a cut to something more happy sounding,like they have done with Up with the Birds.

;-) you know what i mean. I would just call him "to honest",which is a fact. What he does or has done in private isnt interesting to me. Just judge him as musician and he is used to be funny,no matter what :-D

Definitely,worked fine with Noel performing Aka What a life at the Brits (?!). So yeah, i wouldnt mind a proper song with both of them.

All concerts/promotions in August cancelled: GEM ARCHER & V FESTIVAL UPDATE AUGUST 8, 2013 Beady Eye regret to announce that they are cancelling their performance at V Festival and their remaining scheduled shows and promotional commitments in August due to guitarist Gem Archer suffering severe head trauma after an accident on August 1st. The band apologise to fans but under the circumstances feel they can not perform without Gem and want to focus on supporting him throughout his recovery. Gem was released from hospital yesterday evening and is recovering at home though remains under observation.

Beady Eye - I'm just saying

I wrote just from my point of view ;)

What Beady Eye really needs: A way better marketing ! Sometimes to me it seems they choose their singles/releases just the way they like the songs. Not with a view on how many they could sell. Flick of the Finger was the obvious choice as the first one...and a really good one ! Second Bite is just about ok, but in my opinion not a good single. And now Shine a Light...my least favourite song on BE, it has nothing catchy or other arguments to bring more people into Beady Eye´s music. So one out of three, really sad :(... The album has 4-5 songs with potential to represent it very well. If i could have chosen, it would have been like that: Flick of the Finger - they´ve chosen too I´m just saying - which would have been a cracking summer tune Soon come tomorrow - as a nice late summer/autumn release Start Anew - last single from BE I still have some hope that one of these remaining songs will be a single. You could mention that singles arent that important nowadays... my focus is just to bring the band to more audience then they got now.

Anyone going to see them in Cologne in August?! :-)

Im just saying has to be the next Single !
