  1. It is probably their second 'worst' album overall (I didn't care for X&Y) but still a solid album. To be honest I don't think they can ever be expected to top Parachutes or AROBTTH, as they are both near-flawless albums. But regardless, still a great album. Faves so far are: Us Against the World Charlie Brown UFO Princess of China Up In Flames Major Minus Disappointed Moving to Mars was not on the album as it is much better than a few of the songs that made the cut.
  2. I keep thinking See You Soon Part II. So happy :D
  3. It made me cry. The only other Coldplay song to do that was The Scientist.
  4. I agree with you in regards to the singles. ETIAW, Paradise and PoC are seriously lacking in emotive lyrics we come to expect from Chris. But I truly think that Moving to Mars and Up Against the World are some of his best lyrical work.
  5. I think it is far too quick to dismiss the entire era as pop garbage. Yea Paradise isn't as good as some of their earlier singles but its still a good song by the boys. We have to remember that they are still producing songs like UATW and MTM, songs that rival the ballads of their earlier work I think that we should all wait until the album comes out before we declare them as disappointments.
