Well I'm in the exact same position as you. I'm 15, I'm a nerd who performs I have a horrid acne problem. BE social, if they ever want to come over, let them and just say, So listen I dont know what you guys want to do so you have suggestions? Not to be seriotypical but I hang out with girls alot: But talk about music, makeup, actors, school things, be open but not too open. Also make friends who love things you do: Me for example I have; music friends, Coldplaying friends, and regular everyday friends...like 4 of them... This way you'll never get bored and if you have questions they'll help you Hope this helps and good luck! :P

I'm a noob forgive me :P But I suck at open mics, probably cause I'm nervous and unprepared, but aside from practicing, and thinking away with the audience, do you have equipment, constructive advice? They're all Coldplay songs :P but I need knowledge: How to sing into a mic, do I sing close to it? Do I project? Stand or sit? and anything else you know! Thanks!

Actually now that I've taken a temporary flashback; I think the Mods and Ian are afraid that all of those posts might start something and get the site shutdown. Now I agree that the secrecy is annoying, but its for the better. If a fight breaks out, and "xxk something" tells the police that he was posting here they're automatic and lazy response would be to close the site.
