If you could, how would you change the songs we've heard so far?
I wish for more actual playing of instruments generally - like on ETIAW, for example. And the other songs could use a bit of it too. I feel like we've heard too much playback lately, starting from Viva and Lost and now it's carrying on into this era it seems

LP5 lyrically...
I agree with what most people say about Chris not really being the best lyricist out there, but he's got some gems, some things people have been quoting for years and will continue to chant for years to come. These gems are the things to look for, and I feel there's a few to be seen already - "I'd rather be a comma than a full stop" "Like a river to a raindrop, I lost a friend" .. and the bit about a concrete canvas in Hurts Like Heaven. That being said, I'd give a lot to hear something as good as A Rush of Blood to The Head, Amsterdam, Violet Hill or Cemeteries again.

Princess of China
I agree, Coldplay do Things I Don't Understand. (heh) That being said, I say they just make it a double LP and release all them songs on the board we've seen 0:)

LP5 Tracklist?
On a sidenote, I wonder if Great Expectations will be heard ever...Chris said he was reading lots of Charles Dickens during the Viva era which is where the inspiration for Violet Hill and Cemeteries of London came, so I'm thinking Great Expectations is another Dickens-inspired song and it'll fade with the rest of those Viva songs we'll never hear...

Lyrics (page 2 onwards)
It has a lot of touches of Arcade Fire, I feel. But then Coldplay's always done that, and doesn't matter 'cause it's a damn good song anyway :D
