  1. What is it in human mind to be able to conceive something like that? It's not the severity of the punishment that stupefies me, but the feeling of no less than delight the torturing seems to incite in the inventor.
  2. Volcano Choir - "Comrade"
  3. It will pass some time before I get to listen to the new songs since my laptop is unwilling to cooperate, but the thought that there is but a match to Reflektor makes my heart flutter. And if, by chance, there is such a one that could surpass that groove...oh my.
  4. I can't say I would never do things Miley does because I've never been in a similar situation. Having said that, she must have a clue, however distant, about what she's involved in and hopefully she will not do something she'll deeply regret afterwards because she'll be ten times more sorry knowing she could have had done something to prevent it.
  5. I've learned planning things isn't always necessary, you just have to live day by day and make of it the best you can. Not only will it save you the disappointment of a possible failure, but you may also be pleasantly surprised by how well something went without your worrying too much about it. I learned or am rather in the process of becoming aware of the fact you can make difference in many things you think or are made to think must be the way they are and can't undergo change. It's in your head really. A propos October, I'm really fond of autumn and everything that comes with it, the weather for example inspired me to read some poems regarding autumn which again enabled me to perceive some things previously being inconspicuous to my eye and I grew to love poetry in general so that for the first time ever I'll spend some money on a different kind of book. I don't want to hold out hope for the rest of the year to keep up in the same way, I just want to enjoy the moment I live in, this moment now. Thank you for drawing all this out of me, truly.
  6. "Holocene", Bon Iver
  7. Woo, this album's gonna be big! I'm super excited about it.
  8. You know what, I think that's just what bugs me, knowing or rather predicting what kind of song they would put out to win some fans back. Atlas may be a refreshment after so much time, but it's far from sounding revolutionary, which is perhaps what I expect.
  9. As I said, I'm not sure, I think my interest dropped significantly with the release of Mx up to which point Coldplay were my favourite band and I didn't know of many other bands,in fact. Mx was a vast disappointment for me, not only the album itself, but also the air that was over the band, Chris' desire to top the charts and become world's No.1. It all disgusted me and I started questioning my love for them theretofore, exposing myself to many other artists at that time. Now I found refuge someplace else, I can't see the band with same eyes, something like trying a much better taste of food and not wanting the old one any more. Well, kind of.
  10. The xx - "Swept Away"
  11. Atlas is the kind of song that I think would make me crazy about Coldplay a few years ago, but that charm is now lost, they fail at making anything that I find inviting, I even find Chris' voice repellent at times. I've lost all the interest I had in the band and every new song keeps reminding me of it. I'm not sure what happened and if it's gonna change at all. Not even sure if I want it to. Weird.
  12. Thomas Hardy's "The Mayor of Casterbridge". Random choice in a bookshop, turns out satisfactory.
  13. Arcade Fire - "Reflektor"
  14. "Blue Ocean Floor", Justin Timberlake
  15. Finished Tolstoy's "War and Peace". I guess I liked it, have to re-read it in order to express my thougts in detail. Not gonna do it that soon, though.
  16. The xx - "Missing"
  17. That there's a Robert de Niro movie I actually find good.
  18. Off the top of my head-the xx. There's not too much depth to them, but then again, there is. Ooh, I love Radiohead's, too.
  19. Lost. I don't know what to do with myself. I want someone to introduce me to something I'm really good at, something I'd enjoy doing. Until then, I just want to be in a fucking coma because I'm fed up with the world around me.
  20. Dass Deutsch übercool ist!
  21. "Bolshy", Pet Shop Boys
  22. I have a problem or at least have been pushed into thinking I have one when I accidentally commented on a guy's looks the other day in front of my friends saying the guy in question was handsome, upon which I received quizzical looks all around. Now, I have no doubts about my sexuality (which is heterosexual) but I have this peculiar superpower to notice whether a guy is good-looking or not. I know guys do not usually explain themselves on this matter, but surely it crosses their minds sometimes?
