Hello everyone, I made another cover of a special-live version, this time it's the Talk-remix from the Viva La Vida Tour. I kinda failed at the outro, sorry for that, I'm not such a good piano player. (And I am aware of the wrong note, I was just too lazy to re-record it :P) Tell me what you think about it! The RV-5 is really worth it. I got one and the modulate mode is just.. well.. it's just Jonny :D Is he really using a tremolo? With a heavy reverb you can also hit the strings with a pic and it will almost sound like "one" sound.

If you didn't see a guy running through the crowd with a paperclip, turning on 17000 xylobands then the radiowave-theory is still alive ;)

This is a quite old one, but I found it while searching for another thread and thought I could answer the latest question. The chords Chris plays are G, Em, C and D.

Wireless networks are mostly working on 2.4GHz or 5GHz, I doubt that the Xylobands are build to "listen" to those frequencies (it wouldn't make any sense). I think that they just get activated by random data sent trough the airwaves (theres a lot of trash around us). It would be interesting to know if Xylobands with the same colours (or the same code on the back) start flashing/glowing together (which would confirm my theory). Btw: I really had to laugh about the association to Major Minus. Thats why I just love this band :D

I wouldn't say it's difficult nor easy. If you listen to the song while recording it, it's okay. I just recorded my first try, it sounds okay, I think. Do you have skype or msn oder whatever so I can send it over to you?

Thank you so much for your feedback! I often thought about singing lessons, but the idea of having someone who tells you what to do is kinda not what I like to have. Maybe this is a stupid imagination I have, but sometimes I think learning from a teacher means learning what your teacher does, i.e. it's hard to develop an own style. I sometimes see this with people who learned guitar or something from a teacher. (I'm glad I learned all my instruments by myself).

I lived in Denmark a few years and due to the similarity of the languages I have to refuse. But we could both move to London and then start a band! (And rent a studio nearby the bakery and the we could meet for an after-record-beer with Coldplay)

Knowing about Justin Biebers discography is another crime! I'm so glad he's not as successfull in German public as he is in the USA. Your voice is so god damn amazing! I love how it sounds. If you come to Germany, we could start a band. :P

I don't like the reverb on the voice and I the record lost quality due to the high sensivity of the mic. You should maybe use a dynamic microphone or record the voice separatelyn when using a condenser mic. But that doesn't mean it's bad! I kinda have the opinion that bad sound quality reduces the quality of the whole song. So I would like to hear another record, if you find time to do one!

I'm not such a huge fan of effects I have to run on a PC. I've got my effect board for the guitar. It's a cheap Ibanez TBX150 and it's mine since 2006 or something and I have to say: Since I'm playing it with my Telecaster (original Mexican Fender) and my effectboard I love the sound of my amp and I'm not gonna replace it :) Is it such a good idea to use your laptop as effectmaker in a live perfomance? What if it crashes or the signal is delayed?

Well, I bought myself an edrum to avoid this question. :D
