  13. eh up! [scroll:907bb573b7]gig alert!![/scroll:907bb573b7] SNOW IN POPULAR AT XMAS SHOCK! SNOW PATROL have added a second hometown Christmas show in BELFAST - before the first one has even gone on sale. The four-piece had already announced they would play the city’s Ulster Hall on December 22 as part of an end-of-year UK tour. And the expected clamour for tickets has seen them now confirm a show at the same venue for December 23. The band have already sold out three nights in their adoptive hometown of Glasgow. The first gig sold out in just half-an-hour. The tour will now stop at: Birmingham Academy (December 11) London Brixton Carling Academy (12) Southampton Guildhall (15) Manchester Apollo (16) Glasgow Barrowlands (19-21) Belfast Ulster Hall (22-23) Tickets go onsale for the English dates at 9.30am tomorrow. For availability, click here or call the NME Ticketline on 0870 1 663 663.
  14. MANIC STREET PREACHERS frontman JAMES DEAN BRADFIELD has turned his hand to production once more. Fans of the band, who release their new album 'Life Blood' this autumn, may notice a Spectorish similarity between the band's production circa 'Everything Must Go' and the debut single from London-based duo Johnny Boy. That's because production on 'You Are The Generation That Bought More Shoes And You Get What You Deserve' is credited to Bradfield and longtime Manics producer Dave Eringa. The song is getting a nationwide release via Vertigo on August 9 after proving a hit on Welsh indie label Boobytrap. Bradfield, who married his longtime girlfriend earlier this month, has produced other bands before, most notably with less-than-successful Manchester punks Northern Uproar. Meanwhile, the band have finished 'Life Blood', their seventh studio album, and it is set for release in October. Bassist and lyricist Nicky Wire told NME.COM: "It's modern, shiny, pure pop, elegiac pop, It really is the poppiest album we've ever done. The mixer of Goldfrapp (Tom Elmhirst) has been working with us, and he's really given it a lovely sheen and a modern edge. We've been listening to The Associates, early New Order, Joy Division. It's 'The Holy Bible' for 35 year olds!" the whole article from nme.com  :)

  24. obviously if people want to have random sex it's none of my business they can do whatever they please, but PERSONALLY i dont see the appeal of getting intimate which some person you've just met, however attracted to them you may be. they might have STD's or something and it just makes me go 'ewww' at the thought. apart from if its jude law. then i dont mind several one night stands :idea2: but other than that, Noooo.
