Aww! I can't think of many rock stars who'd even bother about such things. Chris is truly special! Oh and now I also recall that he made sure to give Christian O'Connell earplugs come concert time. Christian was doing a documentary about Coldplay and flew with them to Germany during the Viva tour.

It's a good tip. My 16 yr old son is a musician (sings, plays piano and guitar) and dreams of performing live. Now I know to make sure he always protects his ears when the time comes.

She likely came back to LA so she can attend the concert. It's a big deal for them! She gets to be a fan and support her husband among friends and colleagues.

No, no. Something very boring but dear to my heart. My younger son's nickname is JB but only b/c his dad mis-remembered his own grand-pa's 1st name George. We always joke that we'd rather have a JB than a GB.

I'm fine without earplugs but I'm old as well:). I was very close to the stage at my last Coldplay gig and Guy's bass seemed to be playing down my throat.

I can vaguely remember reading about Chris insisting that little kids without earplugs be moved to the back of the venue during a Coldplay concert.
