  1. From everything I've listened to, Kevin and Bean have been friends with Coldplay from the early days. But wasn't Nick Harcourt of Morning Becomes Electic the 1st to play Coldplay tracks in Los Angeles and wasn't he the 1st to invite them for an acoustic session in their studio? Nobody talks about him anymore. I read he's no longer with KRCW though.
  2. Hi! I have 3 great phillipinos friends and neighbors in my subdivision right here in GA.
  3. That's the lone song he didn't give high marks.
  4. I didn't want to believe I heard Brian Eno, Brian Eno. LOL
  5. This is depressing. WM Recorder has become useless. Can some one recommend another stream recorder?
  6. You're a legend, Andy! I'm glad you got to go to the interview and Chris recognized you. LOL What a thrill it must have been!
  7. OMG! For a second I thought I had missed it. Phew! It's going to be at 1p ET here.
  8. Even though Chris didn't want them to air this interview, I'm glad they did b/c now any objective listener can see what happened here. They could have gotten a great interview here, it started so well. The other guy even provided a nice joke so they could move on, but this Bert guy just couldn't let it go. I've listened to every single Coldplay interview provided in the Multimedia area of this board. Every interviewer shows class when Chris gets uncomfortable about talking about his family. Even lovable Steve Kroft of CBS 60 Minutes didn't push it. Just who this Bert guy thinks he is? Granted, Chris could have said, next question! But I can't say he had no valid reason to hang up on this asshole.
  9. Piano version of Fix You played by only Chris on the KROQ XFM radio yesterday. I wasn't sure how he'd handle the bridge, but oh my goodness, it has become my favorite Fix You version. Even the other guys clapped for him when he was done.
  10. Wow! You even got to talk to them afterwards? How lucky! I'm happy for you!
  11. You meant to say grapes and strawberries instead of chocolate, right?:)
  12. The 4 stars don't show in the article.
  13. Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto: Review BY CHUCK ARNOLD Tuesday October 25, 2011 08:20 AM EDT Hey, it wasn’t enough for them to rule arenas, they want to rule dance floors too! Although they pumped driving rhythms into 2005's under-appreciated X&Y, there's a new swagger to the beats on Mylo Xyloto. The thumping drums that end "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall" find Will Champion flexing more muscle, while the funky bass on "Major Minus" might make you think that Flea has replaced Guy Berryman. "Paradise," the soaring current single (click here to download), boasts such a hip-hop boom that you halfway expect Jay-Z to drop a verse on it. Rihanna actually does turn up on the synth-infused "Princess of China," making a moody match for Chris Martin. Elsewhere, "Hurts Like Heaven" has a blissful bounce that finds '80s-pop nirvana. Still – along this (vaguely) conceptual journey about two lost souls – there are classic Coldplay ballads such as "Us Against the World," helping to ensure that global domination will continue. 14. Lovely accent. He turned out to be the most entertaining of the bunch so far.
  15. Move over Beyonce, it's Rihanna that Chris is talking about these days.
