I'm not jealous so I did look. Dates on the photos are December 2003. If you look closely, you'll see C & G are coming out of a doctor's office and both look deliriously happy. Makes me wonder if they'd just confirmed that Apple was on the way. Kinda warms my heart. Yes, when shown this picture in an interview, Gywneth simply said, yes we just learned we were pregnant. LOL This was December 1st 2003, I believe. They married on December 5th.

Her appeal to me is the woman she's become, putting her family first. That's what we have in common and that's what I admire the most about her. Yes I'm an hopeless romantic, wanting to know how they met. That doesn't mean that I want to know every detail of their life. And even if I did, it's no worse than some of you molesting every Chris' picture. I bet she'd feel safer with me. BTW courtesy use to look very different when I was growing up. All I've read in your replies toward me is condescension. Keep your focus on Gwyneth's career and let me obsess on her as a wife and mother. Just don't tell me what I should post on her thread anymore. I know I'm not breaking any rules.

If I wanted to discuss Gwyneth's filmography and modeling, there are far more informative websites that I would visit. Gwyneth has a thread on coldplaying.com b/c of her association with the Coldplay frontman. You prefer to look at her as an entity, I prefer to look at the 2 of them as 1 entity. Until the mods tell me that my posts don't belong on this thread, just don't waste your breath. You can just scroll past my posts if you're not interested.

Thank you so much, Skuze! So I was right, Chris was referencing the Bowery Ballroom gig on 8/12/2000. I find it hard to believe though that he would just dedicate a track to her without having met her before. That concert at Wembley on 10/21 was Coldplay's 2nd. Could they have met at the 1st concert on 10/20? Hmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm hopeless, I know. I'm still on my quest to figure out which concert Chris and Gwyneth met for the 1st time. I'm glad to report I've made some progress. Woooohoooo At the rained out concert in Atlanta on 9/14/2000, the band surprised the fans in the parking lot of the venue and Chris & Jonny played acoustic on request. Chris would try a little dialogue in between songs. So before playing the Scientist, he said (paraphrasing of course): The other day I was gutted. Every aspiring young rock singer fancies an actress. Anyway, the other day we were playing in New York, and Gwyneth Paltrow came to see us. And everyone is like he's going out with Gwyneth Paltrow which is marvellous but not true. But weirdly enough he went on to dedicate the Scientist to Rachel Weisz and said he was gutted when the rumour that she was going to come see them in Los Angeles turned out to be false. Anyway, their last appearance in New York before 9/14/2000 was 8/12/2000 at the Bowery Ballroom. So I'm going to assume that's where they met. Then Chris reached out to her when she lost her dad in early October and invited her to Wembley on 10/21/2000 where he dedicated a track to her. That's my story for now and I'm sticking to it!

Thank you so much! I have a couple more questions for you. Is this venue kids' friendly? I'm taking my boys 12 (well 13 in a few days) and 15. We have general entrance tickets. How soon should we show up to get as close as we can to the stage? We live about 25 miles north of the city, and usually stay at the Omni (CNN Center) for the 4th of July. But it seems a bit far from Piedmont Park. What other hotel would you recommend? I've been enjoying Chris Take Over of the 99X radio station on 9/29/2005. I bet he has no time to do that kind of stuff now. The festival dates are so bunched up. I'll check with the radio station though. I'd really love to meet him.
