By your standards, nobody implied that they know him then. We are all projecting. You want to believe that Chris (whom you just admitted you don't know) is miserable with the Hollywood crowd, is staying in his marriage for the kids only, etc. A bunch of us (admittedly don't know them either) want to believe this is a great marriage like any other with its ups and downs, marriage that has endured 10 yrs. We take them at their word when they say they love each other, have the same interests, and laugh at the same jokes. To each their own! I like a happy Chris Martin and until someone who actually knows him tells me otherwise, I'm going on believing he's in a great marriage.

I've been listening to Coldplay Radio on iTunes and every time I hear a pleasant sound I'm not familiar with and check, it turns out to be Keane. I'm definitely getting their Greatest Hit.

You might be thinking of Miss Dynamite. They were supposed to perform together for Make Thread Fair during AROBTTH. Funny you mention Missy Elliott b/c Chris told a story of when Missy's guard prevented him from saying Hello. This was during the X&Y era at an award show, Missy wondered in the Coldplay's dressing room and started doing her hair with all these oversized bodyguards around her. Chris thought he'd say hello but one of the bodyguards asked him to turn around and just walk away. So he did. I don't know that they ever got together after that. I was at the store last night when I spotted Gwyneth's picture on a gossip magazine ( In Touch?) I never read, but I just had to take a look. Inside was a picture of the 4 of them when they went shopping last Halloween in LA. The article was still about Vanity Fair investigation of her alleged affair with Soffer. I felt so bad for Chris and the kids. I'm so glad he's keeping a low profile now as he has nothing to promote.

Not necessarily! Remember she's a globetrotter. In the event she misses it, some lucky Californians (perhaps unknowingly) will be treated to a Christopher Martin in a Halloween costume or at least behind a mask. That would be really fun.
