  1. Here's my theory about the artwork on the back cover and the tracklist and I think it makes sense... At least based on what info I gathered. If the album is a "concept album" and follows a narrative, then the "conflict" has to occur somewhere near the middle of the story. If you take the songs we have all heard, then I highly doubt "ETIAW" could be anywhere but the end... If at all. Firstly, it "feels" like the end... Unless the story takes a strange twist. But we have been told it ends as a "happy ending". "Paradise" is upbeat, so I imagine that towards the back as well. But I digress. Also, the artwork has to be due at some point VERY SOON to make deadline... And it would make sense that since they are still unsure, to at least have the front and back cover done. Just a hunch. Nothing more... I would write more but my fingers are killing me on my Crackberry.
  2. Did not hear any acoustic guitar, but there is electric guitar. And piano? Strings.
  3. No, just heard Paradise and PoC.... over the phone. Paradise has strings, I think. I think people will be pretty happy with it, from what I hear. I'm excited, personally. Don't hold me accountable, though... I think it sounded much better than ETIAW and will restore faith in the "direction" of the band. But I'm just an optimistic fan.
  4. This is what I think it will end up being... just a guess, obviously.
  5. "Up in flames, we're at death's door... And the fire's burning brighter than before"
  6. Crap, I always miss an obvious song!@
  7. Oops, sorry... yeah, I just found the best graffitti I could and built my own layers of Coldplay colors and visuals (incl. "Voodoo", "Alien Radio", etc.). I put new layers of paint in spots as well. I still need to work on this, though... in hindsight.
  8. Thanks... it needs some work but it's really close. Still working on the tracklisting - this one just "looks" right. As far as "knowing" any more, I can't say that I do.
  9. Like I told you before...
  10. I could have sworn that "DLIBYH" was named in a really early LP5 interview. I have always assumed it was titled as such... it makes sense, but I apologize for thinking it was already identified!
  11. DLIBYH = Don't Let It Break Your Heart I don't want to hear this based solely on the title... reminds me of Toni Braxton. But song titles are misleading sometimes...
  12. I LOVE THIS - Good work!
  13. It's too hard to put the "running man" in background with the outlined font. I tried!
  14. I really liked your "concept"... reminded me of an old R.E.M. album cover (back when they were really great). If it was in higher resolution and less "cluttured", I actually think it could be the best one of the bunch.
  15. Figured as much!y The irony is that yours is more likely to be closer to the artwork we finally see.
  16. God, I hope not... That would suck if that's what the back looked like. In retrospect, I think mine is too simple. I think it will, in actuality, just be a continuation of the graffiti on the front and NO song titles until you open it up and will have a sticker on it with "Contains Paradise, Charlie Brown and Every Teardrop is a Waterfall".
  17. Just from the interviews of the band and specifically Chris Martin, the three of the most talked about in a positive light are "Paradise", "Princess of China" and "Up In Flames".
  18. Sonny, I like yours better... but both are really inspiring. I am off to create my own!
  19. Damn, the fans should be the designers! Nice work, brother!
  20. That one above is my fav!
  21. Love the subliminal "Golden Arrow"!
