  1. Yes, for Canada. Sorry its taking so long for yours! That can't be right! I ordered mine back in early September, maybe that's why mine is coming sooner? I guess they will send them out in order of when they were placed...? When did you order yours?
  2. Just got my email too! Says 3-5 days! Maybe in time for my birthday on Wednesday. Woo hoo!
  3. Here is a shot of the IZOD center that I saw yesterday in a different thread. I wonder if they can do this at the ACC...I would expect it at the Rogers Center, but maybe not for the arenas, just the stadiums. http://www.izodcenter.com/seatingchart.aspx?id=1771
  4. Honestly, if you couldn't get tickets before the show, go down the night of the concert. I'm sure there will be scalpers selling tickets at cheaper prices if you get them just as the show is starting or if you miss the first song or something...Worth a shot.
  5. Yes, the X stage. They currently don't have that mapped out and that would take out quite a few of the center floor seats. You would think they would have that showing on the map of the concert layout, right? They can't sell seats that won't exist.
  6. Sounds like great seats! Yes, you're right, was only supposed to be first 10 rows for the Party VIP. I was wondering the same thing about my seats. I'm row 12 on the right side, seats 39 and 40. As long as you go to will-call that day, you don't have a problem. They person can get in with the tickets even if you're not there with them or seeing the show at all. I confirmed that with Livenation/Ticketmaster VIP Packages today.
  7. Thanks so much - that's super cool! Wish they'd do that for the concerts. Submitted a question to Oracle about the stage setup...maybe she'll actually respond. I've sent her at least 15 questions without response. Remember how they did satellite stages for the VIVA tour? Wonder if they'll do that for ACC...I don't think they can do their stage with the center part jutting out at ACC. I found a concert layout today for one of their shows that had the longer 'catwalk', can't find it now. Instead found this article that might help you guys speed up your PCs to get better tickets. http://www.tmpresale.com/2011/10/30/how-to-speed-up-ticketmaster-dot-com.html
  8. Thanks! I'm gonna need some 8" heels then...I'm only 5"4...Darn!!
  9. Has anyone been on the floor around Row 12 at ACC before? Worried I am not going to be able to see anything and now I've paid a bazillion dollars for this damn VIP package. I'm a little sick about it...Anyone else as dumb as me and bought one? Should have gambled on show #2...
  10. I was above that section in 319 for George Michael and we enjoyed it. Sound was good. Couldn't see anything head-on, but could see the full stage completely. I wouldn't say they are bad, you are on the side though and elevated.
  11. 108 is amazing...if I'm not mistaken 108 row 23 is just behind the Platinum ACC Box seats! You're higher than the people on the floor and you can see really well. If I had seen those, I would have definitely gotten them. All we got was 106 this time - I was in and around that section last time and they were not good. Sound was terrible up there (long delay between what's played vs. what you hear) and the crowd was not into it at all.
  12. VIP packages for sure - whether you get them today with AMEX or general ticket sales VIP packages on Saturday. It says they are non-transferable and no name changes are permitted under any circumstances. The name is not your Ticketmaster name/email its the credit card that was used to buy the tickets. Keep that in mind when ordering, that's all. This is because these are will-call only. Other tickets get mailed so there is no concern, as far as I know.
  13. Not sure to be honest. Regular tickets are not so much of a problem. VIP packages are a disaster. Will-call pick up must be the person who's credit card was used to buy it with photo id and actual AMEX used. I know this is to help curb scalping of these tickets, but still. Might be the same for the general VIP packages as well. Just to be sure, make sure you use the right person's credit card.
  14. That's great that some ppl got seats and not at massive premiums! Hoping Saturday will be a lot easier for everyone to get seats. And prob around 10:30am they will release another show...maybe sooner! With so many dates in between TO and MTL, bound to add an extra show for TO.
  15. Two VIP packages without the meal is $275 each. Comes to $555.75 after taxes, etc. Make SURE whichever credit card you use is the person who will go to the concert. NON TRANSFERABLE. They don't make that very clear at all.
  16. Yeah, got a VIP package, 12th row. Nauseous about the price but at least we get some cool merchandise. Still to pay double+ just for that seems mental. Better be some amazing stuff! Oh and as I checked there were free t-shirts that were available which was awesome! Too bad I didn't add one to the order!
  17. You guys got those rows on the floor as regular tickets? or VIP packages?
  18. Nothing yet for the Toronto show...only Montreal as an idea. I told my husband if I could find someone else to go with me to the VIP then I would take one ticket and that would be my birthday present and Valentine's day present and I'd go with a fan/friend/stranger. But I can't afford to do two. That's mental!
  19. There aren't any preferred seats for the Canadian concerts - just the US ones. Its either VIP package or pre-sale Front of the Line seats. The good news is today's sale is for ALL AMEX cardholders, doesn't matter which card you have as long as its paid for on an AMEX. So go put in your AMEX cards in your Ticketmaster profile. Oh and I would bet $20 that a second show will be released on Saturday. So keep your eye out for that show too on Saturday.
  20. Spoke to AMEX this morning. It does NOT matter which AMEX card you have - its all open to everyone contrary to what I was told on Monday. Sorry for the confusion!! SOO, you don't need to use a special number as I posted above - that's for US sales not Canada. Good luck to everyone. The AMEX lady said people are going mental about this concert, specifically Toronto. Its on the radio and there is lots of hype. May our fingers be faster than lightening typing those stupid Captcha codes and our internet connection NOT time out! I'm a little sick about this with less than an hour to go!! No one better interrupt me at work! I wish I had an office door to close!
  21. Haha, yes, you're right, level 300, but it sure felt like the 500s!! It was up high about 10 rows down from the top! The Rogers Live in the Lot went on sale 10 mins early! That was nuts! I didn't believe I got my seats so I tried again with my husband's cell number and got two more! I will be on early JUST IN CASE although they are much more professional about this type of thing...not a second sooner than 10am will they be available...but what clock do they go by...makes me nuts to keep pushing REFRESH REFRESH REFRESH. Not sure if I'll sleep tonight. Too exciting!
  22. Try this code when using your AMEX. Its the Platinum card preferred seats number, might be worth a shot to get you access to the seats even if you are using a reg AMEX card tomorrow. 18002631616. The US access number drops the '1' at the front so try either one. Never done this before so don't shoot me if it doesn't work.
  23. Also another tip is to make sure your billing info is updated in your Ticketmaster account and be logged in...I guess just a way to be more prepared although no idea how the AMEX presale works! I just went in and deleted all my old credit cards from my past Coldplay ticket purchases. :) Thought I'd share my idea...
  24. Me too! I hope 109, 108 or 118, 119, but I heard those are reserved for the Centurian AMEX card holders. Who knows. You're right - ACC is not that big. That's what my husband was saying. I just don't want to be up in the stands too much. I saw George Michael in the 500s on the completely right side and it wasn't too bad, but I would like to see the stage a little better. Let's all hope we get good seats. And if for some reason I end up with too many (my friend is also trying), I will be on here to help people get a hold of some for face value.
