I voted for Charlie Brown. VLV I agree is the obvious choice, but when I heard this song at iTunes Festival last year... this was the song everyone was jumping to. I'd never even heard it before then but I felt like I knew it already (if that makes sense??). Absolutely brilliant. Politik is also brilliant live. As are GPASUYF, Major Minus, HLH.... ok I'm going to stop now otherwise I'll just list all their songs.

I heard ETIAW playing at this ice-cream shop in Italy. While my family were getting excited about the lovely ice-cream I was going 'It's Every Teardrop is a Waterfall!!!!' and did a little dance. The tourists were looking at me like I was crazy.

I'm doing a case study on Coldplay and I thought it would be good to analyse the 'Paradise' video considering it's quite different to their other stuff. I'm trying to analyse representation, audience and institution in the video and compare it to their older videos. So far I've got: - Humour appeals to audience - Irony of seeing one of the biggest bands in the world dressed up in elephant costumes (links to humour) - Main focus of the rest of their videos is Chris, whereas in this video his face is only seen for exactly 3 seconds, when he takes of the mask. Just wondering if you guys have any thoughts on the video? Specifically what you like and/or dislike about it? The message it's sending out? Comparisons to old videos?

This song has definitely grown on me since the first listen.=! I was completely and utterly disappointed the first time I heard the song (when it was played on the radio for the first time). I really wanted to be able to like it so I played it again and again. I'd probably say it was around my 10th listen that I though 'Yes, this is a great song!'. However for me, it doesn't even make my top 20 Coldplay songs, but that doesn't mean that I still don't really really love the song! (Does that make sense?)

Omg I completely forgot to add DLIBYH to the list but that is an amazing Coldplay running song! Really kept me going last time :) Thanks for other suggestions!

I've recently started running and enjoyed listening to Coldplay on my iPod as I do... but some songs are better to spur you on than others IMO. I think PFFA is absolutely stunning! I'm so looking forward to learning to play it on piano. Yes, it's short but IMO perfect the length it is. My definite fave from Prospekts March - without a doubt!
