I'm perfectly fine with them being 'uncool'. That way they don't get so maitstream that they're played on the radio every 15 seconds (aka Lady Gaga). And you can't really 'like' Coldplay unless you like more than what you hear on the radio (considering the only ones I've heard are Viva, Clocks, and ETIAW) I, actually, like some songs that aren't singles better than the ones that are. And if you like Paradise that doesn't necessarily mean you like Coldplay. It just means you like that song.
