  1. well, logically it should be ok. let's keep the fingers crossed that the people over at ticketmaster are logical too.
  2. i'd think you are ok. there are quite a few people on here that are purchasing tickets from outside of the US.

  4. yeah me too! i was wondering about davide being involved. also, the orchestra shows that it won't go katy perry/beyonce poppy. not that i thought they would, but you never know what to expect out of such a commercialized, HUGE event.
  5. what if they bring out strawberry swing? never going to happen, but that was one of the highlights from that day.
  6. i think we are in for a weird treat! a youth orchestra, beyonce, bruno mars.. i really don't know what to expect and it is exciting :)
  7. Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Youth Orchestra to Join Coldplay at Super Bowl Halftime Show Gustavo Dudamel VERN EVANS/LA PHIL BY MICHAEL MILLER @write_miller 01/28/2016 AT 01:00 PM EST The Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles, led by the LA Philharmonic music and artistic director Gustavo Dudamel, will join Coldplay during the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show. "This is a wonderful honor and an extraordinary showcase for YOLA, as well as a tribute to youth orchestras worldwide," said Dudamel. "When we play, it will be for the youth of the world so they can be inspired to create both a better life for themselves and a better future." Dudamel, a world renowned conductor, has built YOLA from the ground up, and through the program's partners, provides, "instruments, intensive music training, and academic support to more than 700 students from undeserved neighborhoods, empowering them to become vital citizens, leaders, and agents of change." Since it was established in Fall of 2007, YOLA has grown to serve 700 students, ages 6-18, in South L.A., the Rampart District and East L.A. Now, the children of the Youth Orchestra will have the opportunity to showcase their talents during the most watched musical event of the year. Last year alone, more than 118.5 million American viewers watched the show, marking the most-watched Halftime Show ever. In addition to playing alongside the seven time Grammy Award-winning Coldplay, there's also a rumor Beyoncé could be joining the lineup. The Super Bowl and Halftime Show will be broadcast worldwide Feb. 7 from Levi's Stadium in the San Francisco Bay area. people
  8. The Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show Will Likely Break Viewership Records And Fuel Coldplay Ticket Sales Jesse Lawrence CONTRIBUTOR From March until early July, Coldplay will headline arena and stadium shows overseas, including four nights at London’s Wembley Stadium. At the end of July, Coldplay will swing back into the U.S. for just seven currently scheduled stops at the biggest U.S. stadiums like Soldier Field in Chicago, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, and Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The band will close out the run with a return to Levi’s Stadium on September 3, and there’s no question their Super Bowl appearance will amp up ticket sales and resale prices for the upcoming dates. BERLIN, GERMANY – DECEMBER 17: The band Coldplay with it’s singer Chris Martin attend the TV show ‘The Voice Of Germany – Finals’ on December 17, 2015 in Berlin, Germany. (Photo by Clemens Bilan/Getty Images) In the past, Super Bowl halftime performances have worked as excellent promotion for artists trekking out on their own tours. In 2014, Bruno Mars saw a spike in ticket prices on the resale marketfollowing his halftime appearance, where tickets averaged $209 across all of his dates on the Moonshine Jungle Tour, with tickets spiking to averages of well over $1,000 for multiple stops in Vegas. Beyonce’s 2013 halftime performance had a similar effect on the singer’s headlining tour that year, where resale tickets averaged just under $300. Unlike previous halftime shows, “50” will be slightly different in that it will be broadcast in daylight hours, which will present lighting challenges for the production team. Without darkness, routine theatrical tricks like lighting, video, and lasers will be adjusted accordingly. Coldplay will begin rehearsal performances on February 3, and the band will have a 2,500-person team behind the production preparations which includes set, costumes, design, and lighting. The huge production isn’t without good reason, as The Super Bowl Halftime show is expected to draw record-breaking viewership numbers that will be enormous even for a band like Coldplay, who routinely draw massive crowds in stadiums that seat 90,000+. Last year’s Katy Perry halftime show amassed an average of 118.5 million viewers and a 48.2 average household rating, both of which were records. Katy Perry (along with Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott) earned 3 million more viewers than the 2014 halftime show, and generated 238,400 tweets per minute. In 2014, Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show attracted 115.3 million viewers, and 2013, 111.3 million viewers watched Beyonce and Destiny’s Child perform on stage. With the Super Bowl Halftime Show likely to smash viewership records this year, the numbers will work in Coldplay’s favor when it comes to moving tickets. forbes
  9. hmm.. that's strange. i got two because i did the same thing as you.
  10. the presale codes are unique. so have to find someone who got more than one email or not going to use theirs. good luck. edit: for everyone looking for presale codes: http://coldplaying.com/forum/index.php?threads/2016-09-03-levi%E2%80%99s-stadium-san-francisco-ca.106038/#post-5796821
  11. it would be great if you can also update the original posts. easier to move on to the next person in that case.
  12. i think i'll join you guys at the rose bowl instead of going to the dallas concert :) never been there, so should be fun!
  13. there were rumors about this week actually. and we are on thursday..
  14. yeah! i have a feeling that up&up (because of the noted "album version") and everglow may be the next singles.
  15. i think that indian themed video could have fit with ahfod (song) nicely.
  16. you should definitely contact ticketmaster/coldplay/oracle and clarify whether they will do oversees mailing.
  17. that's thanks to @Captain Crieff :) very quickly done!
  18. that's what i'm thinking. coldplay are not as big in the US as they are in other parts of the world. also as far as i can remember, they usually add more dates to the same venues announced initially than adding more venues later right? that's what happened in the european tour too i think.
  19. does anyone else think that since all these dates go on sale before the super bowl, they might announce more dates right after? i mean the demand is bound to go up no? a lot of us are in the same boat sadly. we could plan better if we actually know all the dates at once.
  20. yeah! surprised. but there is a chance they might add more dates later, whereas the european tour seems set with no dates in ireland,
  21. why is this the only concert that's not showing up on ticketmaster??
  22. no history sadly. this is unchartered territory with stadiums in the US! the announcement does say the "first US shows", so maybe they'll add more dates later based on the demand.
  23. hmmm... thanks. they better fix it soon..
  24. guys can anyone see the dallas concert listed in ticketmaster? i don't see it...
  25. i love them for giving everyone a chance before the super bowl madness afterwards. even the general sale is before the super bowl!
