looking at the past winners, this is a considerable accolade. think coldplay are pretty young to get this already too. what's funny is how most of the winners are the traditional "cool" rock n rollers, and then there is coldplay. hahaa! love it!

so who do you think will be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame from the 2000s? that is starting from 2000-current. i think the shoo-ins are: kanye west eminem (but from early 1990s?) white stripes/jack white arcade fire adele amy winehouse possible: the strokes lady gaga beyonce taylor swift coldplay (mostly will depend on how their legacy and career pan out over the next decade i think) i'm being very conservative and missing loads of artists here. so what do you think? alos, i think the artists/genres being inducted will shift hugely in the coming years.

^ everyone is entitled to an opinion. music is subjective. i personally found 25 boring and somewhat unengaging too. that is in no way a comparison to coldplay, their recent output, whatever. that said adele is the defining vocalist in this generation for me.
