the songs on the ep are definitely disjointed. you can feel they are leftovers/unfinished ones, when you think about the flow.

the rainy day is a much more melancholic than it seems by the instrumental work. beautiful melancholy..

actually that was a line from brian eno :) chris had that line empty and was trying to fill it when eno came up with it.

i love the symmetry on this album, the beginning and the ending, goes hand in hand, life and death. this album is such a huge accomplishment in my eyes. artsy, pop, a little rocky, synthy, shoe-gazy, so many things at once. AMAZING!

death and all his friends, have you heard the piano only version! gorgeous! you realize what an amazing songwriter chris is when you listen to songs like that.
