Not really random but hey... 2 people in my life give me sh*t for liking Coldplay. One says stuff because my other friend jokes about it, and the other thinks coldplay are "posh". So the first guy who I'm in college with. He's into 1D (lol), and bands that he names that my other friend likes, somehow that makes him cool? The other person who is outside of college who calls Coldplay posh thinks they're overrated, (impressive to be "overrated" for 17 years, huh?), that they're boring and that the band think too much of themselves. Now, by no stretch of the imagination do I think that any of the band think they're above everyone else. Chris, understandably, acts confident as much as he can (as I believe he isn't a naturally confident guy?). The others, especially Guy, are so unimaginably reserved it hurts! Now, I love the band, but hell, all the people who hate Coldplay just make it so much more amazing for the fans. The people on Twitter who dig at Coldplay are just jealous of their rise to fame and success, and damn, does it feel all the better listening to songs now than it did a few days ago. You start to realise that this band are massive, and we're part of something that will one day be remembered as one of the best times in music, for not just Coldplay, but music overall. The transition between instruments and technology now is being perfectly illustrated by first MX and now GS. Rant over lol. But yeah. Coldplayers, we the best!

I don't even understand anymore :( I thought this was going to be shown live on TV? I also got the times wrong and thought 5pm est was 3am UK so I've been half asleep while cp were tearing up the stage! Can someone please update me on what's been happening and why my twitter is full of decent quality professional cp videos? :(:(

Yeah! I imagine Magic as the second song on the album, it does sound like a second song to be honest. And ASFOS will be built upto, and it will sound amazing. I can't wait, for both the album and the tour :)

The song is really growing on me. When I first heard it on the radio, stuff like the bass didn't come through very well. Then it was released on YouTube and then on Jools Holland. I am hooked. Got high quality versions in iTunes of both the single release and the live performance and I just can't get enough. Doesn't sound as EDM as I first thought, it's definitely still a Coldplay song. I'm also undecided as to whether it'll have an impact like Paradise, as I didn't expect Paradise to do so well and we're all expecting this to top the charts when really I expected Charlie Brown to in the MX era and that didn't happen. Whatever happens, though, this album is going to be amazing.

Feel sorry for those who won't be able to see them live on this current leg of their (small) tour. I have the option of the Royal Albert Hall - the biggest venue they're playing!

Xylobands are from a by gone era, one of which I would actually want back. I think Chris has made a mistake with Avicii, but you know, what can you do? Either like the song or don't, and I do like it, but it's nothing like a Coldplay song
