I'm really tempted to start a small radio like station to broadcast when I can, so we can listen to songs together. Would anyone be interested? Is it already happening?

Well, I don't understand what you mean by 'who at guitar the most' but the two main guitarists in the band are Chris & Jonny. With Chris on the acoustic and electric and Jonny on the electric. Chris plays a Martin acoustic and Fender Deluxe (please correct me if I'm wrong) Jonny mostly plays a Vintage '72 Thinline Telecaster, with his other guitars being a Fender Stratocaster and Les Paul Gibson. If you're interested in playing the electric guitar and not wanting to spend a lot of money (a Vintage Thinline is over £1000 here) you could opt for a cheaper Squier. There is such thing as a Squier thinline and can be used to play Coldplay songs very well. Here's an example (credit to Moza Affendi, who does in fact read these forums!) Hey, I'm needing some new strings and was wondering what kind of string thickness Jonny plays with. With my current strings I'm having some trouble playing some of the songs (eg Lovers in Japan) as they require fast strumming over different strings. Does anybody have idea what kind of string I should get in order to play that bit more efficiently? I can play the song fine, just not as quick as I'd hope to. Cheers. :)

No Dawes

My apocalypse has been pretty lucky. I found £1 and tried my luck with roulette, I won £60. Went on to win two races on the greyhounds too. Trying my luck at the Euromillions tonight, it's an £81m jackpot. Maybe it's the end of my current world instead. I might become a millionaire. Who knows?

Listening to Dawes

I'm in a band yeah, but I play the drums for them and we don't play much Coldplay. The other band I'm talking about is for my school, we're just putting on a little show for the end of term. We're looking to play some Christmas songs but we're also looking at a few Coldplay songs to add to our list. Which include the ones I listed earlier.

I'm practicing some Coldplay on the electric guitar, getting some songs down for some performances. GPASUYF (Live 2012), LiJ, DLIBYH and others. It's been fine. Very hard on the fingers but it's been fine! Yourself?
