  1. That "Ohaaaaooooaaahooo" by Chris on Warning Sign was amazing
  2. Am I the only person who loves Jonny's work on Up In Flames? It sounds perfect tonight!
  3. Jonny is having a hell of a show and it isn't even that far into it yet!
  4. Hurts Like Heaven is sounding better than ever
  5. Firstly I better point out that Jonny uses an ostrich tuning of F on 42. I think it goes from Low E to High E as FFFf#f#f# The exact effect I'm not too sure of but I don't think it'll be too hard to work out!
  6. I'm loving Wake Up
  7. How to meet Coldplay
  8. I can't choose. Honestly, I love both Keane & Muse. They're some brilliant choices!
  9. Rammstein are actually big fans of Coldplay
  10. I think what OP meant by fit was how hot they are. I believe the question is who is the most good looking. Fit is British slang for good looking haha
  11. I love Talk for the exact same reason, it's as if the guitar is talking back. Kind of like the robot in the video.
  12. That's really nice! By the way, you can insert the image directly by clicking Insert Image and posting the URL there, and not using the Insert Link tool Again, really nice!
  13. Oh, that's right. Sorry I misunderstood, I thought you were trying to prove that it wasn't a bass guitar.
  14. It is a bass in the image you posted. The bridge looks like it only holds 4 strings in place.
  15. I upload my photos to imageshack and then paste the URL onto the forum by clicking Insert Image and pasting it there.
  16. Can we please do LiJ? I'd go all out on the chorus! Seriously though, I'm all for this!
  17. Sounds like a nice guitar Tracie! I'm surprised about the Strat body but I've checked out Jonny's specific guitar and they are really expensive. They're something like £1400 over here.
  18. I have no idea why I got a double post, but I may as well add here. Don't use the guitar they use just because they use it, use a guitar that you find is comfortable. Their guitar is comfortable for them individually and fits their style, however a Telecaster may be really uncomfortable to you for example.
  19. Jonny has been using the Vintage Thinline Telecaster '72 mostly for as long as I can remember. I think Chris uses Martin acoustics and a Thinline Deluxe. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
  20. I've just woken from a dream in which Coldplay had played a concert at my school. They were still in the VIVA era I think and there were only two people in the crowd. The stage wasn't very high at all and during Lovers in Japan the guys came down and danced but they weren't playing their instruments. I spoke to Jonny for a very long time, I told him I had gone to the Emirates and Jonny brought up the little fall Tash had had! I then had to leave for a drink, but I also told my friend that Coldplay is in the next room. He said I was lying until he saw Chris but then he had to leave. Chris had also asked for a dairy yoghurt (does that even make sense?) but when I got back the show had ended. I went back to the building, but the guys had completely changed back into the Parachutes era and didn't remember me, so I technically met Coldplay twice. After that I let them leave and then I woke up.
  21. Yeah, exactly where I planned to be actually!
