Gwyneth...
Another article about the same event. Paltrow, Hudson and Parker have dinner at Tiffany's April 18, 2013 NEW YORK – Even in these trying economic times, diamonds really are a girl's best friend. At least, according to Tiffany. And the iconic brand unveiled its latest Blue Book collection at Rockefeller Center Thursday night, inside a 31 foot high Tiffany box erected for the occasion. The gems graced the necks, heads, hands and fingers of the A-listers wearing them. For this, the stars turned out in force. Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Jessica Biel, Michelle Williams, Carey Mulligan, and our favorite, Sarah Jessica Parker were all there to fete Tiffany. Paltrow, in Ralph Lauren, was looking insanely hot. Her most meaningful piece of jewelry? "Probably my engagement ring," said the actress, who's married to Coldplay musician Chris Martin. As for Parker, her engagement ring was from Tiffany and it meant the world to her. "I've told him countless times," she said of husband Mattthew Broderick. Does she buy herself diamonds? "I never bought jewelry. It never occurs to me that's a possibillty," she says. "We've been so privileged to be able to borrow things. It's such an enormous privilege." Her toddler twin daughters love her jewelry. "It's not off-limits. They're welcome to it. They really love it," she says. As for Carey Mulligan, her own piece that meant the world to her? "My wedding ring," she says. "I couldn't say anything else, could I?" Meanwhile with Williams, "That's tough. Something my kid made for me," she says, referring to daughter Matilda. Hudson says she "picked a guy with good taste. So far so good," she said, referring to fiance Matthew Bellamy. Tiffany itself is having a major moment. The brand created the custom-made bling featured in Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby. And those with deep(ish) pocketbooks can get a piece of the action: there's the opulent The Great Gatsby Collection Savoy headpiece for a mere $200,000, or a more reasonable pair of Ziegfeld Collection pearl drop earrings for $450. The company's Blue Book, first published in 1845, is an actual tome that features its most spectacular, gorgeous pieces. The lucky few can afford them. The rest of us can drool. http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/people/2013/04/18/tiffany-paltrow-parker-mulligan/2095647/

The "most hated" thing is so ridiculous that it's hard to even comment on it. Crazy people. On the nicer flip side, I'm loving all of the pics we've been getting, the updates and the news. I am SO excited for Iron Man!!!

Rachael Ray's show definitely did a great job promoting the book. Gwyneth looked great, as usual, and seemed very relaxed and happy. I loved the answer about being married to a rock star. She said the rock star part was just a bonus. :D

Holy...Hell. :o:o Thanks for the pic and for the info! It's like someone telling you that something you really want was delivered to your house, but you have to go all day knowing it's there and you can't have it. *Tapping foot in anticipation....

Okay, so I looked too. The fan quandry. It was creepy, yet I'm sure they know this sort of thing is possible being in pap country. I know it doesn't make it right, and them not knowing they were being photographed made me hide my face, but I looked through my fingers at them anyway. I mean, they were posted here, so everyone looked I'm sure. If you didn't, you get a pat on the back and a "Teach me how to do that" from me. I admit my desire to catch a glimpse of Chris took over. The graffiti wall was awesome. They are now closed.

Gwyneth Paltrow shows off her long legs while attending a signing for her new book It’s All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes that Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great at Williams-Sonoma on Friday (April 5) in Beverly Hills, Calif. Earlier in the day, the 40-year-old actress was spotted rocking sunglasses while heading to a meeting. “Someone had told my daughter [Apple] that The Grove was really fun and she’d never been before,” Gwyneth recently shared about her book signing earlier in the week. “And so they all came out. I was so happy they were there.” http://www.justjared.com/2013/04/06/gwyneth-paltrow-my-family-came-to-book-signing-a-the-grove/ Good Lord, look at those legs. (And btw, for me, we, very luckily, haven't found marriage difficult either after 25 years - and 5 years of dating before that. I personally wouldn't end any statement about my marriage with "but you never know what will happen..." But I realize that most marriages do have ups and downs/challenges to face, I realize that I'm not in the limelight, and I realize that it's her business on how she wants to come across. I'm probably being selfish, but it would just be nice to hear her leave it on a positive note sometimes.)

Gwyneth Paltrow: Chris Martin is Really Funny! Gwyneth Paltrow keeps it bright while heading to a meeting on Friday (April 5) in Beverly HIlls, Calif. The day before, the 40-year-old actress rocked a purple dress while attending the Tracy Anderson Flagship Studio in Brentwood. “Like any marriage we have good times and bad times… I think we’re really good friends and he’s really funny,” Gwyneth shared about her husband Chris Martin at the event. There is a video at this link: http://www.justjared.com/2013/04/05/gwyneth-paltrow-chris-martin-is-really-funny/ You know, I love Gwyneth. I think she's talented and pretty and has extremely great taste in husbands. At the expense of being alone on this, I admit that I wish she would leave a good quote alone every now and then and not throw in a "you never know what's going to happen" phrase. I understand she doesn't always do it. I understand she wants people to know they have a normal marriage with ups and downs. I understand, from previous interviews, that she knows you have to nurture a marriage and not be arrogant and think you have complete control. I get all this. I think she appears to be a stellar wife and mother, but still, every now and then..... ;) JMO.

^WOW! Thanks!!! :dazzled: He is looking so FANTASTIC! I'm loving this California thing if only for the pictures. I need a steady IV of pics coming through, so it's working out fine for me. :D I recognize the woman and the boy as being with him at the ice cream shop the other day. And the hand drawings continue. :) Thanks again!! P.S. Did I mention that he was GORGEOUS??!

Wow, she looks stunning. And I agree about Amanda DeCadenet. I know the show is supposed to be more like a conversation between friends, but let's face it, people are tuning in to hear what the celebs have to say, and Amanda just talked too much. I genuinely like Gwyneth and think she's a great actress and caring mother and wife, but I do want to ask a million questions about Chris. :D

They've come a long way. He didn't hide and actually went to a professional event for her and even signed her book for people. And geez Louise, she got a hug?! Amazing. (I'm assuming they had a good turnout then.) I wish there was some way you could find out if he was going to take the kids for the next one, Dianne, because it would be great to go. It's easier to occupy kids in a bookstore rather than a Williams-Sonoma, so who knows. Then again, who knew he'd show up for this one, so maybe they will support her at all of the ones they can physically make it to. Thank your friend for the pics!
