  1. He mentioned February in the Radio 1 interview. Either way I have a feeling LP5 will be with us by Easter. U2, Radiohead and REM also look to be releasing albums before summer next year......so the first half of 2011 is shaping up to be amazing!
  2. February 9th eh Chris? That date playing on your mind huh? ;)

  6. February / March for album and single? The first half of next year......wow!! Coldplay, REM, Radiohead, U2.......Beady Eye lol
  7. I smell a new album around the corner. Maybe some news by the end of 2010? I'm saying single in February/March and album March/April I'm going to lie down now ;)
  8. @ Mari*ColdplayLover* You are one hot chick ;) If it is nearly finished hopefully it will be out between February-April next year.
  9. yeh and I suppose their most famous song is about golden showers??? "and it was all............yellow" !!!
  10. Yes. I always listen to them in my sailor suit with my sonic screw driver close by :)
  11. EMI really need Coldplay............. Coldplay do not need EMI anymore......... They should remember that and instead at the very least got Martin to water down what he said.
  12. Don't worry about the quality Will is EMI's mole ;)
  13. This is why Coldplay should go Radiohead............
  14. I see your point but for some people a hits collection is a entry point to a bands work. I still think the EP was a mistake. Although saying that I ended up doing my own version of 2008's releases. Viva La Prospket :)
  15. Imo what they should have done is this instead of releasing last years EP - 2009 greatest hits with new tracks left over from the Viva sessions (Prospekt's March) Would sell 5million copies easily. 1) Shiver (wind back from 0.00 for secret track Ode To Deodorant) 2) Yellow 3) Trouble 4) Don't Panic 5) In My Place 6) The Scientist 7) Clocks 8) God Put A Smile On Your Face 9) Speed Of Sound 10) Fix You 11) Talk 12) Hardest Part 13) Violet Hill 14) Viva La Vida 15) Lost 16) Lovers In Japan 17) Life In Technicolor ii (new single with greatest hits) 18) Glass of Water 19) Prospekt's March/Poppyfields (secret track Brothers and Sisters) So basically the album is bookmarked by 'the beginnings of the band'
  16. Sounds good. Album for 2010 then to ring in the 10th anniversery of Parachutes.
  17. To be honest if I was Chris I'd be more insulted being compared to Noel Gallager who without the sucess of Oasis' first two albums would be in the dole queue.
  18. Bono is right Chris can be a bit of a wanker. He does come across in interviews not very well sometimes epecially walking out of one last year. Together with this saying he had a shite night at the brits.....does it matter when you've had the biggest selling album of 2008 Chris? Anyway if Chris is a wanker then Bono is a **** ****** ***** ***** *****!!!! His pathetic reasons for not playing tax which went like 'Ireland is doing well enough' we are a business, everyone else does it. Very true - but when you come and preach etc to us.....no wonder most people think your a cock! Right. After Radiohead, Coldplay are my favourite band and I reckon in the next couple of years U2 will be no longer the biggest band in the world. But at the end of the day who cares. It's about the music. I like U2's new album but I prefer the Viva sessions. U2's last album sold 9million and I have a feeling the new one will sell just under Viva. So that would make Coldplay the biggest band no?? Maybe ;)
  19. John Legend RHCP Britney Madonna ACDC
  20. How much would you pay?? Bearing in mind in this day and age most stuff would appear online later on. I guess getting first pickings on tickets is a major selling point!! U2 charge $50 lol I reckon if The Play were to do it they would give the money to good causes - after all they give 15% of what they earn already.....
  21. like a puppet on a lonely string.....
  22. That's not unusual....
  23. Would be sad if they really were thou after having the biggest selling album of last year and 3, yes 3 Grammys! They have won best band and album twice before as well as a few other Brits. It doesn't matter its just 'awards' at the end of the day.
  24. At The end of the day it doesn't matter. It's all about the music. I'm sure Coldplay are not bothered.....and most importantly in 10-15 years they will get contribtion to music award...erm, as long as the world doesn't end in 2012. Many who were there tonight will disappear I'm sure.
