I've been loving David Gray a lot recently. I suggest getting White Ladder and his latest cd, A New day at Midnight. Both cds are brilliant. He writes some good lyrics. Nick Drake is also genius. Lovely acoustic guitar work and brilliant lyrics to match..

DMB was my favorite band until Coldplay came along. I think I've seen DMB 11 times now.. maybe 13.. I can't remember. Great band.. great musicians... the people who say they don't like them usually are the ones who haven't given them a chance yet. Crash is one of the best albums ever..

I think lonliness is kind of .... i dunno.... i dont know what the word is.. but I think loneliness has some interesting qualities to it.. almost sexy. I dont know what i'm saying. :shrug:

When I first saw them on their Parachutes tour in Dallas in 2001, everyone sat down (except for during Yellow of course). Well, most of the people sat except for a couple people in front of me :-/. But, it was awesome cause Parachutes is such a more relaxed album... it was nice to just sit and enjoy a really chill set and show. Their whole show back then was a lot more relaxed it seemed too. But now it's different.. how can you sit down when the beginning of the show starts with such a bang from Politik? So, in short.. back then, sitting... now.. standing definitely.

Hmmmmm..... I think Chris Martin could do some cool Nick Drake covers. Or how about The Beatles' With a Little Help from My friends.....?????? I hate when people cover good Beatles songs.. but I think Coldplay could pull it off.

Man.. good luck with that.. really. I saw one on ebay yesterday I believe and it was already up to about 500 bucks. Oops.. k found another one. This one is already up to about 650 US dollars.. ouch. I could go on a nice ski trip for that money.

And on March 25th, you can buy Futurama Volume 1 DVDs. It's a 3 disc set.. and I"m guessing it's the first season. I also recommend grabbing up the Family Guy DVDs.. it's the first 2 seaons and will be out next month .. I think.

Yep.. yesterday here in Dallas, a radio interview with Chris brought up a few things. First, when asked if a live cd was in the making, Chris said, "well, I like the idea of a DVD." He didn't say what kind of dvd, but it sounds like we would see a DVD of some sort before we see a live CD.

I've been playing guitar since Sept 2002. I bought one mostly to learn Coldplay songs. I can play a bunch of them and having the guitar books for both albums doesnt hurt either :) I also play a little piano. I can play Trouble, Clocks, and am learning Amsterdam right now. I'm also not bad at drums :) I wish I could sing but I really can't.

it was probably ladder to the sun.. they've been ending their shows with that one lately.
