Ugh.. yes.. sadly I'm addicted to playing and it sucks cause I just moved and I don't have regular access to one... or a keyboard. I'm currently accepting donations :)

  10. Yeah I'm in a little band right now.... there are 3 of us. We all play guitar and I chime in on piano for a couple songs. We have a cover of The Scientist that's pretty damn good. Our singer is a girl and she's incredible. We're very laid back........ yay!
  11. I'm not quite sure if I know what you mean for regular and alternative tunings? A guitar tuner is just going to tell you the note each string is tuned at so you can change it accordingly (by twisting the knobs where the strings are attached). As you twist the knobs the strings will change notes.... I don't know if I'm answering this question right. Anyway.. maybe you should just go down to your local music shop.. I'm sure any of the guitar people will be more than happy to explain and help! Oh.. and when you are tuning the higher pitched strings, be sure to tune them slowly if you are going to a higher pitch cause they snap easier!
  12. me? well thanks :)
  13. Good luck with your guitar hunt! I don't know anything about electrics.... but I hope you can find a decent one for your price range.. Don't forget you'll also probably need an amp and a guitar case... Some guitars come with a crappy case.. you'll want to get a hard case. You might already know this.. just trying to help out!
  14. I've been playing the guitar since September of last year.. so I'm nothing great yet. I can play piano as well... and a little drums. I think that's it. I can also play a mean air guitar.
  15. you cant vote on a favorite cause they're all good..... but.. i'll be alone here and say god put a smile.....
  16. i can help you with that or any other song.. Yellow is tuned from the bass string to the highest pitched string: E A B G B D# :)
  17. Everday seems to be the less DMB "sounding" album they have.. it's the least like the others.... It's got some good stuff on it, but if you want something that is "typcial" sounding of DMB, I'd get something else.
