Actually I was talking to somebody from the UK, and she said its obvious Keane is the biggest band there, not to mention sold out gigs in Los Angeles and San Diego...How is that for "distinct few" ;)

I saw them recently in L.A. and again in San Diego, California. Awesome shows. Ill have video soon.

Wow, my last post really got under your skin didn't it, perhaps your man or men can't stand how easily you get angry. Your right, I don't know you, but you have to accept some critisism when you post. How do I know your the type to admit when your wrong? None of us know to tell you the truth. Secondly, I'm not defending anybody. I'm simply stating theres another side of the story not being told. Im not the kind of person to say "Awww poor you"..for the reason you just expressed, I dont know you. My advise is relax, breathe...and avoid the drama. Can you do that? ;)

First off, I can't even count how many times I was in that same spot. After many years of thinking of lines and sneaky ways of getting myself "in" all went to the trash simply because we put girls way up on a pedastal (especially if they are hot). Truth is, they are just like us with the same kind in insecurities and doubts. All you need to do is be yourself, The right girl will love you for all your pimpness and dorkiness. Don't ever change for her or anybody for that matter. Don't pretend to be into things she likes. Be her friend, be there for her when she is down. Above all, tell her exactly how you feel. Life is too short. If she shoots you down, big deal..there are others and you know this.

Like I said before, it's not the final factor. The point I was making that everybody is missing is that Keane topped out Morrissey in the UK. Think maybe Im talking to brainless zombies. chomp. ;) i have to agree with you there tom. the singles chart at least is the home to the most crap i have ever heard in my life. obviously there's the odd good band in there, but i think the album charts serve as a real measure as to what music is worth listening to at the mo. maybe tis different over in the States, i'm just speaking from a brits point of view :P

Nobody is trying to change your opinion, you can like (example) Spice Girls if you wish..what I'm saying is that you are part of the minority who dislikes them..no big deal. The Morrissey thing was for you and not for people who liked Keane in the first place. I dont think you understood the point I was trying to make. Actually, Morrissey himself said Keane is the band to watch for..thought that was pretty cool. Anyway, The chart success in my opinion means "something" but definately not "everything". Charts can only measure so much. Obviously we disagree on that point, again..no big deal. It's all opinion, and this conversation is making me want to listen to Keane again.
