Agreed, believing in the afterlife takes away from the fear of death. Nobody wants to think that when we die, that's it. It is depressing to think about that idea and seems like a let-down. Years of gaining knowledge and experience for what? We take that experience and knowledge and pass it on to our children, and through them we live on.

I never said I saw a ghost, I said "IF" I actually saw a ghost. If ghost really exist, why after all these years there still is NO solid proof they exist even with all our advanced technology we have now. I think we want to see things, so we do.

So your saying that it could be all fantasy and that you won't know anything until you die, but then you say God did it? It sounds like you have 2 opinions about it. No one REALLY knows how the universe was created and the big bang is just a theory yet to me sounds a bit more feasable than someone creating it in a few days.

Joy Division called Interpol and told them they don't need another tribute band. ;) Also, Interpol was recorded at Universal Studios in California with hundreds of 14 year olds waiting to see them leave the recording studio. :stunned: Maybe they will play at the Jay Leno show soon?

That is the title of my term paper. It is an exploration of what the truth can be yet will never be proven. Instead, I plan to spark the mind of people that have been molded mentally. (pieces) If I actually saw a ghost, that would open the doors WIDE open for me and the thought of the afterlife would no longer be a question. I believe the human mind is extremely creative and can conjure events and images that are not real. I also believe the mind can be shaped easily such as the type of religion you practice now. As kids, we believe in such things as Santa, but come to realize it was just a story...is God the adult version? I never was a good church student as I asked too many questions when something didn't make sense. "Bread fell from the sky?", I ask. It happened because IT JUST DID was the answer. That answer was equal to a kid saying, "just because". I can't prove that Ghosts, God, or the afterlife does NOT exist, nor can you prove that is does. This is where the never-ending circle begins and wonder if it will ever be broken. It comes down to Faith vs Logic

I live in San Diego California, and all my pals agree that UK music has more heart and better musically. The only thing we have that's better is Hip Hop.

I think Interpol is a product of Hollywood while The Editors is a real product. Less Pop- but I guess pop is what alot of people like.

Wow!!!! it really is an amazing picture! Security was pretty tight about allowing pictures that night. The new songs were just amazing and the songwriting was dark and personal....awesome stuff

Great show at the House of Blues in San Diego....Better than the last Colplay concert I went to.
