or "Things I Dont Understand" :) TIDU wouldn've been *heaven* on the album...but people are already complaining that X&Y is too loud and How You See The World is more relaxed. I can't help but imagine how many other amazing songs were shelved. B-sides should have at least 5 tracks! lol

That's why you have Parachutes ;) I love the Coldplay change! I hate it when they're described as "soft rock"...there's so much more to them then just Parachutes and it's great for people to see that.

I wish they would've added this song in and left out The Hardest Part...(sorry not my favorite as of yet!) or make the album with 14 tracks! Damn Coldplay and their 10-13 max songs...:lol:

That's not a disappointment really, i've always liked Coldplay live better! Surely it won't be any different with this album :)

Aw no but lyrics don't mean anything. "Don't Panic" doesn't even mention the title...same with "The Scientist". Coldplay has done that a few times. I'm so nitpicky sometimes.. :blush:

Parachutes and X&Y are like night and day. Is that a bad thing though? It seems to me like most people just want recycled clones of old songs built into new ones. Coldplay needs to move on and I'm really glad that's what they're doing. I don't see the amateuring lyrics in X&Y. I find them amazing actually, but of course, your mileage may vary. The album is different from Parachutes, different than AROBTTH, and if I remember correctly, that's exactly what Coldplay was shooting for.
