  1. a message sounds pretty good with a capo on the first fret, and basicly you play these tabs: x032010 - C x022010 - C/Em x020010 - C/B 3320010 - C/G 1332111 - F 0020100 - Am7 3200033 - G xx00231 - Dm
  2. heres a few from the top of my mind: Yellow - EABGBD# How you see the world - D#G#C#F#A#D# Moses - EADGAe Shiver - EABGBD# God put a smile... - C#F#BECC (weird tuning I know)
  3. haha, thanks for the good luck, I've got the first verse pretty much down!
  4. oh cool thanks, I've been so busy and tired the past few days I havn't had the patience to tab it myself, thanks again! T87
  5. I was talking about the first verse, heres a picture of what I need help on, it's in the second bar. thanks
  6. Hey all, I have looked over three different books of coldplay sheet music, and the Amsterdam tabs don't seem to be accurate, I've got the first bar down, but the second bar in the song where chris plays those quick eighth note progression is way off, it says B - A Natural - F - then C flat, it doesn't sound right.. any help?
  7. a quick tab I just did, the intro and second verse goes as follows: Abm (Ab,B,D#) then Bbsus something (Bb,D#,G) B (B,C#,F#) Bbsus something (Bb,D#,G) AbM (Ab,B,D#)

  10. Washburns are good acoustic steel string guitars, so is Ibanez, and Martin (although Martin's are the most expensive, but the best out there)

  12. hehe no prob, thanks for posting that though
  13. yes they are, I was just creating the basic rythm/notes for everyone
  14. *UPDATE* I just finished a better clearer version of those tabs, same link so check it out ~T87
  15. I know only a little bit of the intro, but I've been fiddling around with the rest of the song, I'll let you know when I come across some accurate notes
  16. the intro is basicly the tab that chris uses throughout the song, you hit the notes one finger at a time, and it goes like this: D# - A# - G - D# - A# - G - D# - A# - C# - A# - F - C# - A# - F - C# - A# - C# - A# - F - C - G# - F - C - G# - F - C - G# - C - G# - F <---- then start again from the beggining (Note: the Cs are played as High Cs, not middle C) :)
  17. No problem, have fun playing with it!

  19. here you are, let me know if you can't read them, I kind of scribbled them on there, but it should be okay :) http://home.graffiti.net/stevejya:graffiti.net/img012.jpg
  20. I can try to make up some sheet music for you, but he plays with these keys: Right hand - (C,D,F,A) x4 -- (D,F,A#) x4 and you quickly bounce your pinky on High C for an eighth note -- (C,F,A) x4 -- (C,F,G) x4 and for the left hand {the way chris plays it is his left hand plays twice as fast as his right, but it sounds decent with it all played the same} Left hand (played an octave lower than the right) - (D,A) x4 -- (F,A#) x4 -- (F,A) x2 -- (F,G) x2 I'll try to draw up some sheet music later for you
  21. You could also use a piano if you have one, just tune it down to the appropriate key until it matches in pitch
  22. Hey no problem, and I had some free time on my hands, so here is a detailed picture of the intro and basicly the whole beat throughout the whole song. Here you are: :)
  23. I found this PDF file off the internet awhile back ago, I printed it out and tried it, however the rythm was off, so I tried experimenting with it, and that's what I came up with.
  24. this is a fun song to play on the piano, however you need to have decent sized hands because your spreading them like crazy, anyways, for the intro: You want your left pinky on LOW C, and your left thumb on BASS C. and with your right hand, there are four parts, 1: you want your right thumb on MIDDLE C, your index finger on MIDDLE E, and your pinky on TREBLE C. 2: Right thumb on MIDDLE C, index finger on MIDDLE E, middle OR ring finger (whatever works best for you) on MIDDLE G, and your pinky on TREBLE C. 3: Thumb on MIDDLE C, Index finger on MIDDLE E, and pinky on MIDDLE B. 4: Thumb on MIDDLE C, index finger on MIDDLE E, middle or ring finger on MIDDLE G, and pinky on MIDDLE B. all these notes will be played in eighth notes, with the interval of four counts. So with your left hand we have: Low C - Bass C and your right we have the 4: C-E-C , C-E-G-C , C-E-B , and C-E-G-B and it goes like this: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ C C C C C C -------------------------------------------B-----B----B---B----B----B------ <---- Right hand -----------------G-----G-----G----G-----------------G---G----G---G------ ---E------E-----E------E----E-----E-----E----E-----E---E----E---E------ C C C C C C C C C C C C --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- <--- Left hand C C C C C C C C C C C C --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- C C C C C C C C C C C C
