This was one of the most amazing nights of my life! I am walking around today still in awe that I was there watching the guys play! The only thing that would have topped it off was if I got there early and followed Mel so I could meet Jonny and Guy, but oh well. What time did the guys show up to meet you Mel? I am really hoping that they do come out with a DVD of this show, just knowing that I was there would just be surreal

show starts at 7 right? But they have 2 opening bands so I'm not going to want to be in there until later on anyways! I'll be at the MJ statue for sure

Dish out your perfect Set-List for the upcoming tour! I've been thinking the past few days about what songs Coldplay will play live, and in what order.... as I am going to the Chicago show I am very excited and am always daydreaming and thought I'd hear everyone else's thoughts about what they'd like to hear... Heres mine: Life in Technicolor Cemeteries of London Politik Violet Hill Speed of Sound God put a Smile... Trouble Don't Panic Yellow 42 Shiver Moses (Tribute to recently born son) Viva la Vida Lovers in Japan Encore See You Soon (Big shocker to the setlist) The Scientist Yes A Rush of Blood to the Head Clocks In My Place Fix You 2nd Encore Strawberry Swing A bit far fetched but I'd love all these songs played!!!

The sections 300 and above aren't as bad as you may think actually, when the lights go on its kind of dizzying because it is high up, but when its dark it's fine... I saw Coldplay last time at the UC and was in 312 I think and it was fine, the sound quality was really good as well.... what I would recommend is bring a small pair of binoculars if you want to see them that close.

Does anyone else notice that Yes sounds ALOT like Chris Martin's song Bucket for a Crown? The chord progression sounds like it as well as the way Chris sings, and there is also a violin part in the song... just thought I'd point it out

yeah it's very easy, just get the timing down. The first chord on the piano consists of: F# A C# the second is : A C# E The third : E B D then goes to : E G# B Then goes to : D F# A basically moves throughout those chords the whole song

I don't think the acoustics are that bad, I was at their show during the XY tour and it was pretty damned cool, it's just that when you think of Coldplay you think of a small, more intimate setting with maybe 4000 people, not in a huge stadium playing in front of 40,000+ people.

Yeah it's at the United Center, during the XY tour when they came to Chicago I was up in the high seats (upper deck or whatever), although they were way up there they still weren't that bad... I would love to have floor seats or lower deck seats this time around but if I can't I would be happy to just be there even if they turn out to be nose bleed seats...

sweet, so far I think Fanprice would be a very good method to trying to get tickets! I think I'll try Livenation first though and try my luck there first

does anyone think it would be worth it to put an offer on the Chicago show even though they won't be on sale until the 14th of June?

I REALLLLY want to go to this show and am going to try my best to get some tickets... the only thing that worries me is that when I tried to get tickets for the Chicago show during the Twisted Logic tour they were sold out in minutes!! If I don't get tickets I don't know what I'll do.... :(

No offense towards your brilliant tabbing Stephan, but I think this song is played in Dbm or C#m not just Db, the song is definately played mostly in minor chords, the only major chords are played in the chorus from what I can hear

don't be so quick to say it's a hoax, I mean I'm not saying it's real... but for those who say 'It doesn't sound for colplayish' just remember what they have stated a few times before about how that this album is going to be completely different from anything else they made, so who knows. I do think the electric guitar sounds like Johnny though...
