not even honey??? using wool??? do you even eat ice creams or milk chocolates? I think this is a bit exagerated if you ask me. But anyway I see everyone's got their own ideas and views of life. I have nothing against it. But if I ever decide to turn a vegetarian (or something similar) I think I'll stop just eating cow/lamb/pork meat, but still eating fish (fish has a lot of nutrients you don't get so easily from vegetal sources, you know?) and of course sometimes eggs, milk, honey, using wool. (I would try not to use leather thought). Well, this is just my view. I believe the video has a lot of reality on it. But this is not the reality in all places where milk and eggs are produced. I know a lot of farms in my country and I believe also in yours respect more the animals for this kind of production that doesn't involve killing them.

I actually watched it all... couldn't even look directly to some scenes. I fel very disgusted right now. :( And yes, I also believe there are some ways of production that do not hurt animals that much (if not at all) the problem is that you're never 100% sure where does the meat in your plate come from. Anyway, may I ask what was the incentive for you to stop eating "normally" (meats) to be a vegetarian? do you eat cheese and milk, maybe fish? or no flesh at all, no animal products?

I'm not sure the same way of production is being followed here in my country. But I'd rather think is way more friendly... :sick: Seriously, I'm feeling quite sick right now...

Ummm I think there's a lot to discuss about this. Of course we're not pure carnivores, the more exact term is omnivores, right? and I actually believe that starting eating flesh, for us humans was a very important step in our evolution because it gave us lots of energy and cause the development of our brain. The problem comes when we examine today's diets which tend to be over-calorific. And yes, eating flesh in excess might cause some of the problems that you're talking about. These days I'm trying of not eating so much meat on my meals. Actually I'm thinking of trying being a "moderate" vegetarian at least for a while. :) To see how it feels... I sometimes get the idea that we eat very heavy things in our diet, not sure if I can explain... I think I could start not eating red meats.

Well if my opinion was just based on an impression, maybe I wouldn't tell my friend because of how he/she might get it (as an offence, probably bad) but if I really had arguments and facts of why that relationship isn't good for them of couse I would tell them. Does it make sense?

Yes I think I understand... when I studied there were 11 levels... but lately is becoming a fashion that schools have one more level... I mean 12. Just as in Lithuania. :) I don't think it's big difference. And yes, I think all schools here have uniforms... or tracksuits... or both... but all can be considered as "uniforms" since we all are supposed to go to school the same. btw, do you have msn? :D
