I think it has to do with the way it sounds... some people might not like German because sounds very strong, or Spanish or French for any reason. Portuguese sounds very weird in my ears. But, it's a beautiful language, I know some romantic songs in Portuguese and they're good. ;)

Languages and cultures? :D Well, I have Hungarian ancestry so I'm definitely willing to learn the language, Hungary seems such a nice place :nice: and the culture is awesome. The problem is: It is so hard! So, I'm taking German course and I hope to become fluent (someday) and also learn French maybe... it's not supposed to be THAT hard since I'm a Spanish speaker. Oh and Japanese... that would be sooooo cool.

I'm studying chemistry, I'll be graduating in about 1 year and a half. And I'm taking the normal courses of my career, And German II.... my German is pretty lame right now. :P I also plan moving to make post-grade studies abroad. Not totally sure where I could go though, I still have time to think on that.

I'm so shitty scared of my life from now. I wish you could wait for me, but I know I can't really ask you to do that. This is the good-bye, I guess?

Oh I think I totally understand you now... But what was it about? problems with your family? the other people you relate? or you wanted an overall change? ... En mi caso, también quiero irme a algún lado... Pronto, no sé a dónde, pero tiene que ser un ambiente completamente nuevo. Lejos, lejos. La verdad ando un poco harto de estar con mi familia, y bueno, creo que hasta ahora empiezo a ser más o menos consciente de mi decisión reciente de acabar con una relación larga con la persona que pensé estaría toda mi vida. Simplemente porque sí, porque consideré que me faltaba madurar. La verdad siento miedo. Espero tener la oportunidad de viajar a Suecia o a Alemania una vez termine mis estudios universitarios aquí en mi país. Todavía faltan 2 años para eso... igual el tiempo se pasa muy muy rápido ¿no? y bah, no sé... ya estoy por cumplir 20 años (en Enero) :(. Creo que me va a dar depresión... Pero bueno Iris, me alegra bastante saber de ti, especialmente si andas alegre con tu viaje a Escocia. Espero siempre lleguen más oportunidades, gente nueva, sorpresas, en fin... :D Good luck.

Did any of you guys saw the synchronised swimming final (duo)? I liked more the Spanish but they got silver... the Russians won gold. Japanese girls got bronze. I like to watch these sports just because they're really beautiful to see!

We now have a bronze too :) heh --- 2 medals
