So I'll definitely try lemon juice mixed with corn starch. Hahah. :smug:

Ode to deodorant
Yo're right, what is known as aluminium chlorohydrate (a mixture of aluminium salts) virtually found in every deodorant... From what I know, Aluminium is a neurotox metal and according to wiki the chronic exposure to it might be linked to Alzheimer and breast cancer. :surprised:

Ode to deodorant
There was a time when my mother used corn starch instead of deodorant, because she once did read an e-mail stating that some deodorant chemicals could cause breast cancer. I don't think that worked for her. She now uses what she calls a really mild deodorant with no harmful chemicals. :dozey:

Ode to deodorant
I was wondering about coldplayer's personal cleanliness habits... Particulary the frequency of deodorant use. The poll is private. :cheesy: so don't restrain yourself from voting or even commenting.

Are you Baptised?
I was baptised and had first communion according to the catholic church here. There is also some kind of confirmation where... if I'm not wrong... the father might give you a little slap. Of course I've never taken that. :blank:

Are you Baptised?
I was baptised too under catholic rite when I was about 4 years old. I don't really mind it, now I'm not really a believer. But I agree people should be old enough to decide by themselves. My baby is not going to hell... lol. :awesome:

Are you Baptised?
Just for scientific interest. I was wondering how many people here are baptised. What are your views on such christian tradition? And if you're baptised, are you happy with the decision your parents made? (most people are baptised when babies) or you just don't care about it?

How do you sleep?
Now that sounds painful. And about the snores... Now that I remember... Sometimes when my brother snores (my younger brother and I sleep on the same room), which is not too often but happens: I wake up, go to his bed and push his little body to the other side- This just solves the problem and I go back to sleep hah.
-
How do you sleep?
Me too, and on my front. Not the best position. There were actually some times when I could wake up in the middle of the night with one of my arms totally numb not being able to move it at all, apparently dead and it could take some minutes to go back to life. Alone Tiny bed Silence Usually Fortunately not! I can get really aggresive if I can not sleep well.

I don't know real snow either. :disappointed: But who cares since we get incredibly absurd hailstorms from time to time. :awesome: btw, I know it's not the same. :(

Tell me something about you that I don't know
I'm giving a little presentation tomorrow for Canadian people. It's going to be the first time ever that I give a presentation fully in English. I believe they won't be thrilled about it. :blank:

HIV Positive Man Cured By Stem Cell Transplant
Thanks for clearing that up with that little research. I never heard anything about the subject before this thread... Although the discovery might seem a little bit fortuitous, the fact that the transplant of HIV-inmune stem cells just worked is really interesting imo. This might be a big step in the battle against this virus. Let's hope a cure will be found in some years. :)
