The Feeder Thread
Comfort in sound is one of my favorite albums Always liked their earlier rock tracks but i like their new direction too Bought the newest album pushing the senses, its a good album, they've put some of the heavier tracks on the B-sides of the singles this time. I like the b sides 'murmer' and 'shatter'. They sound a bit more rocky

Things you really like about X&Y
I like: Square One The drumming and the melody in the verses What If The strings that make the track sound like the beatles and johnnys guitar parts at the end Fix You The organ sonds really good, johnnys simple but effective guitar bit and the four part vocal at the end. Talk Johnnys guitar part in the build up to the rock out bit X&Y The string doing a reprise bit at the end Speed of Sound The drumming using the toms and floor tom (not sure if thats the right names) Guys bass parts really work too and i also like the synths in the track A Message Love the open tuning acoustic, lovely sounding chords Low the bit near the end where he sings "i feel low" but to be honest i like it all really :)

Toronto Aug 2 ACC [2005]
on the rush of blood to the head tour the set list only ever had a few minor changes. You never know they may decide to play a new song on the tour like they have done before :)

unhappy with the setlist
I think they may change things around a bit for this american tour starting next week. The band are playing at some big venues and i think they are indoors so the show maybe a bit different. I defo think they'll play some different songs on this US tour, hopefully some covers too. You never know they may even play a new song like they've done on previous tours, wouldn't that be great! :) As the shows are indoors the light show and screens would have to be slightly changed. We'll have to wait and see i suppose :)

2012 - Olympic Win for London
its really exciting to think london will be hosting the olymipics. All the athletes and supporters coming to this country to see the games! :) I remember the day sydney won the vote over manchester to host the 2000 games, i thought that i'd never see the olympics in this country.

concert play-list?
Hi The song Low has been in the band's setlist for a while now and has been played at almost every gig. They played A Message during the 'Buzz gigs' in April and May. But i don't think they've played it again since they've started the 'Twisted Logic' world tour. I'm not sure if they've played 'The Hardest Part' anywhere yet. However I'm sure by October the setlist may change slightly and 'A Message and 'The Hardest Part' might be included. :) Thanks Steve

SOS used in a commerical.
I'm not entirely sure what the ruling is but i think that TV stations can use artists music without permission, for example in the UK the BBC used the song 'Clocks' in a feature about the channel. However if a company want to use a particular song in an advert for a product the artists permission has to be given. i've got nothing against some bands or artists letting their music be used for adverts. Some small bands and artists are under pressure to make x amout of money or sell x amount of albums or else they will be dropped from their record labels. So i suppose lettig your songs be heard on adverts is just an easy way to get your songs heard by a bigger audience. I know its not always the right thing to do but i can understand a small band or artist doing it.

Which could be the four singles??
I hope the singles will be 1 Speed Of Sound 2 Fix You 3 A Message 4 Talk (But then I also love Low and White Shadows so I not really sure  ) I also like What If but I don't think they will release 2 ballad type songs off the album (the other being Fix You) I dunno, there's just too many good songs that are single material on this album!
