I've always wanted everything to have an explanation, in all the sciences i've studied. quantum mechanics is basically that, explaining why things do what they do.

like... I can absorb and regurgitate facts pretty efficiently when I'm taught; it's dissecting and analyzing unsolved problems where I really have to think that makes me feel awesome

^Pretty much. I got into an argument with my friend about light having mass and why it doesn't and throughout it we've discussed basically every weirdness, quirk, and problem of quantum mechanics.

Ugh, I give up on this particle-wave duality and experiments being affected by an observer shiz. Quantum mechanics are stupid. wHY CAN'T THIS UNIVERSE BE SANE?!
