Oops, that didn't work! I'll try again! The necklace I bought yesterday reminds me of Ghost Stories slightly (I actually only realised after buying it) : x

How has Coldplay changed you?
Hi. I'm completely in love with Coldplay ♥ I was 14 when I got Parachutes and AROBTTH together after hearing their music on the radio for years and at 24 I now own all the other albums too. I love their music so much and love how different each album is! I feel like Coldplay have shaped me in a way. They have sort of given me something to turn to through their music. The lyrics in their songs are amazing and I can really relate to them. In September 2011 my Mum passed away and a couple of mornings after losing her I was lying in bed with my earphones in listening to the radio. As soon as the radio came on I recognised Chris Martin's voice and enjoyed listening to new Coldplay material (it was Paradise by the way :) ) that I wasnt even expecting (with everything that had happened with my Mum I don't think I realised when they were releasing new material). Anyway, when I went back to uni a couple of weeks later to do my final year, I think their music really helped me, especially when they released Mylo Xyloto. I guess Coldplay helped me to grieve! I like how Coldplay differ in sound and you can aways find a song to suit your mood. When I got back home to the UK after seeing Coldplay in Paris I used the "Life is for living" lyric in my Facebook post and made a point of saying it was something they said ^_^ I hope they continue to make people across the world happy for many more years to come! x

Who won the Sky Meet and Greet Coldplay competition?
Hi, I've tried to find the right thread on the forum for this but can't. I'm just wondering who won the Sky competition where the entrant wins 2 tickets to the Royal Albert Hall show plus an opportunity to meet the boys too? Is it anyone on here? I hope so! If not then hopefully it's somebody else who is also a proper fan! The competition seems to have closed on Tuesday 27th May according to the terms and conditions I found x

Hi, it's me again :P Despite having to miss the boys playing Always In My Head, I did manage to pick up some paper stars which I now have at home with me. Also, after the gig, I saw 2 of the boxes that Coldplay have had sprayed/painted with artwork (Are they storage boxes? I'm not too sure) which was pretty awesome and I got all excited about them 'cos they were right in front of me and were about to be loaded into a truck while I tried to take photo's of them. Also, when Coldplay were on stage, Chris blew a kiss to the crowd which I thought was cute and blew one back to him even though he had been looking at people in a different section of the crowd. (Sad, I know but Oh well haha). I have a feeling, and hope for people's sake, that the empty seats were empty 'cos maybe people stood in the aisles on steps or maybe like someone suggested that they got to the standing section. When I was late I started freaking out and just stood in awe of Coldplay then realised my view was from the side, so I asked a member of staff where my seat was and he pointed around the corner. I ran around the corner up more stairs and realised it was impossible to get to my seat so just stood on the side aisle on a step and luckily had a better view than I would have done from my seat which would have been in the back row! I turned around to check I wasn't blocking somebody else's view and a girl who was standing a couple of steps behind me invited me to step back a bit more and I then had a bit of a better view as I was higher up :) I guess every cloud has a silver lining now that I look back. I still feel strange thinking I travelled to a different country to see the boys but it had to be done! It must be True Love :P Do you guys think Coldplay realise that a lot of fans travel to different countries to see them? (I'm guessing there are a lot of us that do this) Also, I thought Chris threw his guitar in excitement but apparently it was flying as part of the show. What actually happened? Haha I had to be told to leave the room by a member of staff at the end when I walked closer to the empty stage to take photo's of the pretty stage. The guy had to repeat himself 'cos I don't speak French and must have thought I was a right weirdo when I went around picking up pretty paper stars from the concert off the floor :P I feel even more grateful at having seen Coldplay at the Paris gig after finding the Graham Norton show online and hearing Chris and Jonny confirm again that they are not doing a proper tour. I hope those of you who want to see them do at some point! :) x

[28-May-2014] Casino de Paris, Paris, France
Hi. Sorry I'm posting again. I'm glad everyone had a good time! I wish the venue hadn't ruined the night with all the disorganisation though (I'm not sure if many of you guys experienced this too). Does anyone else think this is stupid? : We were told that we could pick up our tickets and wristbands from 5pm so I stood in line ready for that. When I got to the front of the queue they couldn't find my envelope ...because that was the Early Entry queue. Ok, cool, so I went to the correct queue to then be told that actually, they were not letting people pick their tickets and wristbands up and that instead, everyone going to the gig needed to stand in the same queue to go in regardless of whether they had already picked a ticket up or not. We were told that doors would open at 7pm, so my brother, who wasn't going to the gig, suggested coming back later after getting dinner, which I didn't even want to eat and instead wanted to queue up, even if it meant doing it alone, but he wouldn't listen. So we went back at about 7pm and joined the HUGEEE queue. As we got nearer to the front, those with tickets and wristband were let in front. When I eventually got in the building to queue for my ticket, I heard Always In My Head, thinking they were playing it to get people in the mood for the gig! Then I got my ticket, was flustered, walked to where I was directed, a staff member had to open my envelope to inspect my ticket. Anyway, I walked up the stairs and walked into Charlie Brown being played (Amaaazinggg, might I add :D ) I then felt a tear in my eye as I was panicking that I had missed a lot when I realised that the version of Always In My Head that I'd heard in the queue was actually the gig! Ahhhhh the gig was amazing and I'm so grateful that I got a ticket to see my boys in such an intimate gig and glad that I travelled from the UK to see the Coldplay boys but I'm still angry at being late! I feel bad for people who were far behind me 'cos they must have missed so much more! Did anyone else have a similar experience in terms of being late to the gig because of the venue messing things up? x

Hi guys. I travelled from the UK to Paris on Monday and saw the boys last night. They were amazing! What did everyone else think? I want to ask you guys who were also at the gig last night, did many of you end up being late into the show too because of the stupid queue? I walked into the room as Charlie Brown was being played. Luckily at the end of the show I heard some people speaking English so spoke to them and they said I didn't miss much but I'm still annoyed x

I think f they were completely sold out then there would be a message on the website. You have to keep trying over and over and over, it took me a while yesterday. The categories didn't take me to the payment until I tried for agesss x

Thanks guys! :D I finallyyy got a ticket! :D Tonight I tried to buy one and registered with the website then when I went to the Payment bit it said I didn't have an account or something. Then I ended up finding the same ticket and had to re-register and paid but it didn't work even though I had verified my account or whatever. Then I got an email about Membership Activation. Then I tried to buy a ticket again and have now paid for it and got an email confirmation! Woooo! You know what, the reason I came on this thread today was to ask those who didn't get Paris tickets what they are planning on doing with their time they reserved for the gig seeing as I booked a few days off work and didn't get a ticket. But now I have and will be travelling from the UK to see Coldplay in Paris next week! Wow, "next week" sounds so strange! Well done to those who got tickets and those who didn't don't give up! :) x

You're welcome! I've never ordered an album online before lol and was wondering how pre-ordering worked in terms of if we would get Ghost Stories on the actual release date. I was really doubting it! Please let me/us know if you get/got your copy today, I'm curious! Actually, by your Edit, does that mean you now have your copy from Amazon? :D x

Ghost Stories, release date: 19 May 2014
That would be awesome! I've never ordered a CD online, I've always gone into a shop to buy them. I was going to buy Ghost Stories and almost pre-ordered it instore but changed my mind. Thankfully I did 'cos not long after I heard about the Amazon competition. I know I said I was going to wait until I have the CD in my hand before listening to Ghost Stories, but I might listen to the online version that's already been released on Sunday 18th May 'cos it would have been my Mum's 60th Birthday and I think it would make the day and album feel more special and it kinda feels right, I think it'll cheer me up :P I guess I'll wait and see how I feel. I feel like I'm betraying myself hahaha x

[1-Jul-2014] Royal Albert Hall, London, UK
I've been thinking. Do many of you guys also think that it's completely ridiculous that Coldplay are only doing one concert in the country where they're from for this album (for now)? I'm sooo annoyed!Fair enough it's up to them what they do but they obviously have a hugeee fanbase and plenty of people who would love to see them not just in this country but al over the world. I can't believe I was willing to go to Paris to see them and booked time off work then didn't get a ticket. I guess it just shows how much they're loved. I know it sounds stupid but the longer I wait to see them the more annoyed I get. If I don't get a Royal Albert Hall ticket I think I'll start to go off them :S Also, the Amazon competition, as cool as it seems, feels a bit silly cos that's 500 pairs of pre-sale tickets, so when tickets do properly go on sale there will be less available and more demand for them! Sorry for all the moaning! x

Ghost Stories, release date: 19 May 2014
Yeah I see what you mean! I like how you know exactly how you'll listen to Ghost Stories for the first time! A hot chocolate sounds like a nice bonus to an already good time lol. Also I have a Coldplay mug too :D :P and yeah I feel like it will be a magical moment too! x

Exclusive screening of Coldplay: Ghost Stories The Film for Sky customers. Free tickets!
Those of you who didn't go to the screening, when you do see Ghost Stories, you're going to love it! It was awesome! :D I found myself smiling at times without intentionally doing it and I had to fight the urge to sing out loud so mouthed the lyrics to songs I knew (old stuff in particular seeing as Ghost Stories stuff is so new) Everyone clapped at the end, that's how good it was! :P I hope everyone who went also enjoyed it! x

Ghost Stories, release date: 19 May 2014
Also, I've seen a few of you guys write about a DVD. I definitely remember rumours of a new Coldplay DVD. Maybe it'll be the TV programme(s) that are on Sky Arts soon, just on DVD? I remember getting the Live 2012 DVD and thinking "Ohhh wait, isn't this what I only recently watched at the cinema? :S" lol x
