  1. I think it's a bit silly that we can hear Ghost Stories already. It is exciting but I think the good thing about album release dates is the anticipation leading up to buying it. I was going to buy the album from a shop and was looking forward to that moment of joy when I'd be standing in the queue with the CD in my hand ready to pay for it, but I've ordered it from Amazon in the hope that I can be part of the early window thing for the Royal Albert Hall gig. I don't mind waiting a few extra days if it means more of a chance to get tickets to the gig. Then again I have heard a few tracks from Ghost stories after the Chris/Zane Lowe interview and the Ghost Stories screening x
  2. Ahhh I'm so annoyed! I'm from the UK and was hoping to get a Coldplay Paris ticket. I had an Early shift at work when tickets were released so somebody else had to buy them for me. They didn't manage to though (I even snuck away from work to phone them and phoned them to ask them how they got on during my break at work lol). I've just been reading about how some of you guys managed to get tickets as late a just passed 3pm (when I finished work). I tried the website when I got home which was a little bit after 3pm but it had some sort of message saying it's unavailable and to try again later. I couldn't 'cos I was going to the Ghost Stories screening (:D) Anyway, the same message has appeared on the website tonight. I'm guessing the tickets are all completely gone now. I actually booked some days of Annual Leave off work for days around and during the gig. Luckily I didn't book Eurostar tickets or a hotel. I'd absolutely love to go to Paris but now it just seems pointless! I'm definitelyyy trying for London tickets!!! Anyway, sorry for the rant, I just wanted to moan haha 'cos I know other Coldplayers will understand. Have an amazing time if you got a ticket! If the gig is anything like Chris, Guy, Jonny and Will performed on the Ghost Stories film you will LOVE it! :D x
  3. I'm surprised more people aren't going to this! I'm wondering if many people are going from different cities. Also wondering if it's fully booked yet as it is only one room in one cinema in just one city in the UK so I'm assuming all spaces are probably taken. Has anyone tried and been told there are no tickets left? Imagine if you have a ticket, turn up and Coldplay are there performing! x
  4. How do you know? The only information I'm relying on is the official Coldplay email that we will get (hopefully it'll be soon 'cos every time I realise I have a new email(s) I start to panic!) I'm so tired of waiting! I'm probably more anxious about waiting for the Coldplay ticket email than I am about getting an email about a job I have applied for which I've got my heart set on! x
  5. Yeah, standing's more fun :) It's kinda awkward when you're standing right next to someone though 'cos you don't want to bump into them x
  6. So far 42 people have "Liked" my Facebook status (makes me think of the song 42) x
  7. Same! The more I wait the more annoyed I get! I'm actually getting angry planning my journey from the UK to Paris  (partly 'cos I'm tired from being up late last night and being at work today) but yeah. Ahhh all I want is a Coldplay ticket!!! Can't believe I'm planning to go to Paris to see them (and kinda setting myself up for failure too) x
  8. I hope I get to the front! Luckily for the Paris gig I've managed to book a good few days off work to explore Paris seeing as I've never been so if I do get a standing ticket and wait since morning then at least I don't feel like I'm using up time to explore Paris lol. Haha I don't think I will kick or bite anyone! I was joking with one of my managers that I would probably say politely, "Errr excuse me?" when trying not to get pushed around! x
  9. Thanks for the replies! :) Ooo I'm excited now! All I have to do now is getting a ticket, not only that, but a standing ticket haha. If I do get a standing ticket I'm going to get to the venue nice and early and talk to other fans, especially if I go to the Paris gig seeing as I'll be going there from here in England and it would be silly not to try get to the front if you've come to a different country! I'm going to wear boots which will hopefully make me a little bit taller even if it does mean getting hot, I'm definitely not wearing dolly shoes to a standing gig, my feet will be ruined! I wonder if anyone wears heels? Then again I might wear trainers for comfort. Hmmm. I love how as soon as Coldplay came on stage at Under 1 Roof I immediately stood up as if they were Royalty or something (well they kinda are to us!) At Coldplay gigs, do many of you guys reveal your Coldplaying.com identities? x
  10. Hi, I've just been thinking about Coldplay gigs. I've seen Coldplay live once at Under 1 Roof and had a seat on the back row. As soon as the guys set foot on stage I stood up without a second thought :D I did struggle to see at times though 'cos I'm quite short and a very tsll man stood in front of me :/ (I know he can't help being tall). Anyway, for the next gig I try to get a ticket for I want to be in the standing section! What are people's experiences of this? I'm worried I won't be able to see 'cos I'm quite short and also I don't really fancy getting pushed around (I know us Coldplayers are probably all lovely but you can't help but move around during gigs) but I would love love love to be close to the band! What do all the other short people in standing sections do? I don't want to queue for hours and hours to then find I can't see! I'll be so upset if that happens. I know the obvious answer to this is to just get a seat instead but like I said I'd love to be close to Chris, Guy, Jonny and Will! x
  11. Aww I love their cute little smiles! x
  12. Yeah they might not go on sale for a little while, I just hope time goes quickly before they go on sale 'cos I don't like waiting haha x
  13. Lol how freaky! I just got an email from Coldplay, it says that info for the next gigs will be in the next couple of messengers. So it's not ticket info as such but it is something to do with it! x
  14. I watched the normal version and am also going to watch the extended version too. Does anyone think there will be much more Coldplay in this version compared to the normal one? x
  15. I feel like it's taking ages for ticket info too! Yeah I'm hoping to go to the Paris gig from England too. I've already booked time off work, I'll be so annoyed/sad if I don't get a ticket! Are you going by plane? I'm hoping to go by Eurostar. Even though it's annoying that the ticket info is taking ages and I'm paranoid that I'm somehow now not part of the mailing list, I keep reminding myself that ticket info for the past gigs for this little tour came out not long before the actual gigs. Do you speak French? I'm already wondering how I'll get on in Paris x
  16. Even though it's ages until the gig, every time I realise I have a new email, my heart skips a beat! x
  17. Feels like something out of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Shame there isn't chocolate involved too :P I want a Golden Ticket! So are all the clues going to be on Twitter? I don't have an account :/ x
  18. I'm upset about this too! I've been thinking about it lately and now Chris has confirmed it I'm kind of glad we know where we stand 'cos it means we will try so much harder to get tickets for these shows (as will lots and lots of other fans but we should all still try). I'm from England but am going to try for Paris tickets then London ones. I noticed your current location - Scotland. Have you considered going to Radio One's One Big weekend in Glasgow which Coldplay are headlining on the Saturday? Even though I knew I wouldn't be able to go ('cos I can't get the time off work and more importantly the tickets were released before Coldplay were announced as headliners) I was still excited about it lol. Radio One are holding competitions to win tickets at the moment x
  19. On Radio One's website, they write the name of the song they play at the time and they've written "An Ocean Full Of Stars" instead of A Sky Full Of Stars :\ x
  20. So it begins! Nothing sexier than the sound of Chris Martin's voice :P Happy listening people! x
  21. Thanks! Yeah I'll have a practice when we know which website will sell tickets :) x
  22. Hi. I was wondering if someone could help me please? I'm confused. I live in the UK and want to try get a Coldplay ticket for the gig in Paris. How would I pay? Like, would everything be written in French?! Would the price be in Euros? If it is, does it mean that when I pay, the equivalent in English Pounds will come out of my account? x
