  1. When I called for the NJ show they could only move me to a section that had tickets available. I got lucky and they had better seats.
  2. Patiently waiting for this. I have Ticketmaster up on my computer all day every day! So far the two ticket releases have been for obstructed view (side) and lower level (behind the speaker towers)...
  3. This is exactly right... I would not pay $200 for those seats.
  4. Those are going to be unreal.
  5. EVERY time I see a concert in Philly I hit up Pats and Geno's. It's this weird tradition I have. Sad I'm missing this one... Saw both NJ, Columbus, and Pittsburgh and my next and last one is Dallas. Have fun :)
  6. Where are all my peeps? Good show! Heard In My Place and See You Soon which I had not heard previously on this tour. I've actually never heard See You Soon live. What a great night :) took my dad to his first Coldplay show and met an old friend I haven't seen in 7 years (I grew up in Pittsburgh). Chris had another funny moment during Everglow because a fan yelled "fuck me!" And he said "you'll have to at least take me out to dinner first, show me Pittsburgh" hahaha but he did seem a bit upset and it ruined the vibe of the song. He also said he was having a shitty day while on the C stage and we all made it better :) And thank the Good Lord and Jason Regler because all 5 of my xylobands worked woot woot! Till next time boys!
  7. They dumped a ton of great field seats... onto TM Platinum Seats!! Ugh, $375 each. Trying to scalp tickets last minute. Just release them at face value!!
  8. What's the secret to getting a setlist? Was Miller just carrying it around or did he pull it off B-stage and give it to you? I've always wondered!
  9. Because they were losing a lot to StubHub and wanted to cash in on resale. The problem lies with the industry - it's broken.
  10. Apparently Chris just confirmed a return to North America next summer. Yayayaya Canada :)
  11. Agreed. I don't have a ticket yet and I always have the tab open on my work computer/check my phone when I'm home, constantly. I'll post here when better tickets become available!
  12. Side view tickets were released today...
  13. I think the tour (Live Nation) should have done more about this. At my venue, when something like this happens, we always move people to better seats if it is possible. In this case, it was certainly possible, given all the tickets that were made available at the last minute (seats that did not exist previously on the old map, or were held until production loaded in and the chairs were placed on the floor). Since this affects the whole tour, I don't think the venue or Ticketmaster could have done more. Live Nation coordinates with Coldplay on the stage design, then sends Ticketmaster the template, and then Ticketmaster "builds" the show. Especially on a large scale tour like Coldplay. Live Nation is responsible for the seating chart screwup, but of course, good luck trying to reach someone there.
  14. I absolutely love that you found this hahahah
  15. Make a really awesome homemade shirt and get there early and just walk around upstairs. Shirts got me/friends upgraded 3 times on the MX tour.
  16. Hi!! Yes, they will return next year. Coldplay has always been SO good to Canada. There will be another NA leg to fill the big gaps on this leg, like Canada, the Pacific Northwest, Southeastern US, and big cities like Houston and DC. I'd expect another European leg before, though. Most likely in arenas, not stadiums. But who knows? Just a good guess :)
  17. If I had to venture an educated guess it would be in Section 104 in Pittsburgh. And it's about 25-50% of the way up in the section itself.
  18. My favorite part of this show was Chris stopping the whole thing (like he is known to do), during Everglow because he could hear the CSC security guy at the B-Stage yelling at people to return to their seats. Chris stopped everything and said "sorry to be a dick, but can you please do that later?" and then talked for 1-2 minutes before fist-pumping the security guy while the crowd was cheering and then going back to the music. It was hilarious :) And then, the O-H!! I-O!!! chants at the end of the show when Chris prompted it. He always finds a way to have fun at every show.
  19. I'm on a roll today. Earlier at game night, we played Pandemic and my friend was complaining that the game was hard to learn, and I said "nobody said it was easy" hahahaha. Enjoy the gig!
  20. Yeah, a couple days before up to the day of! Be careful with Craigslist... I work at the Verizon Center in DC and we see a tonnnn of counterfeit tickets for big shows. And they are all bought off Craigslist bc you have no recourse like you do with StubHub. Trust me on the last minute seats, don't panic ;)
  21. M Hi Jake... may I suggest you check Ticketmaster religiously between now and then, you will likely score some really good field seats when production loads in the show and sets the chairs. At MetLife Stadium they released a ton of good seats along the catwalk, B-stage, and even very close to the main stage. There was a major change to the seating chart last minute which also led to more seats becoming available. Cheers!
  22. I will be there, won tix through Crowdrise (for the 3rd time lol), this is my 4th Coldplay concert on the tour! BEST. CONCERT. EVER.
  23. They have been upgrading lots of people to various places on the field/floor. They also do that to fill seats that have not sold. Just do a search on Twitter for Coldplay upgrade and you'll see lots of happy people holding their upgraded tix :)
  24. LOL at this rain, hope it passes. Not cool.
