  1. Tickets on sale to the general public 10am local time Wednesday, with Citi Preferred tickets on sale at the same time (per the Live Nation mobile app)
  2. Check out the listing on ticketmaster... It still doesn't show a price but it says there is now a ticket limit of 2 for whenever they go on sale to the mailing list.
  3. They did update ticketmaster with a ticket limit of 2 Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk
  4. And be on the lookout for tix released day of show! Mumford had a lot!
  5. Nothing yet... I think the on sale will be this week Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk
  6. They played the 9:30 Club once. That was A LONG time ago! Now I can see them at DAR or the Warner. About 2000-3000 seats. Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk
  7. Jack Johnson did it. That was a nightmare!! And you can still see a link up but get a private offer link that allows you to select tickets, whereas everyone else would just see that blank ticketmaster link.
  8. My guess is there will be a 'Private Offer' link for a private onsale on ticketmaster that you can only get to with the link. Or, they will do a code lottery to mailing list subscribers. They can't do Will Call Only or Paperless, because those methods of delivery are illegal in New York. Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk
  9. Omg I know. DC has plenty of perfect intimate venues for them! Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk
  10. Not to be bitter, but I hope they play more than 10-15 songs like they did at SXSW and LA... With the amount of material they have, I kind of wish they'd play longer sets. Granted, this is no comparison, but I just went to a Springsteen concert last weekend and watched The Boss play for 3+ hours. The man is 64 years old and has a band of 20 musicians.
  11. That's how it should be done. Or what they call Credit Card Entry or Paperless tickets in the US/Canada. Good luck!
  12. When I worked a Jack Johnson show on his last tour, he did a lottery via his email list (including a show at the Beacon IIRC), and you had to get lucky and draw a code which then could be used to purchase on Ticketmaster. That was pretty hard because there was no general onsale, it was all lottery codes. BUT, they ended up having a bunch of releases on the day of the show because a lot of artist, venue, and charity comps were returned. We actually couldn't even sell all the releases to walkups, even though the show was "sold out" for so long, and demand was very high. Because nobody knew and had made other plans instead. I see what you're saying, but it's not as hard as you think. And then, there's always StubHub.
  13. Maybe the casual fan won't, but this usually isn't an issue if you know what you're doing.
  14. I will be attending the show at the Beacon. Buying Amtrak and hotel right now.
  15. Guys, GS is not geared towards a major tour, at all. Albums from a band like Coldplay are meant to be played live in front of 20-50 thousand people. This album won't be 'forgotten', it just won't receive the kind of commercial success that comes through a major tour, radio airplay, etc. I like the album for what it is, a chance for the band to experiment. But what I believe brings Coldplay to the next level is the creativity and energy they bring to the concert experience. Looking forward to LP7 and the tour :)
  16. I'm really not surprised by this. Short album, no tour dates yet, it all makes sense. Great move by the band!
  17. That was so badass. And back to the future too! Its gonna be really, really tough to top the MX tour production...
  18. I keep getting the feeling that this is LP6.1, and we'll see even more new music in short order, followed by an arena tour... It's highly unusual for them to release an album and not begin touring immediately after.
  19. Man I need to move to LA. You are so lucky
  20. I wonder what the capacity for these gigs is. They seem super-exclusive, maybe a couple hundred tops.
  21. Still flying out and going to Sunday's show?
  22. Wow. Surprised to hear only one person here won...
  23. For Sunday? They're will call only via Ticketmaster. The only way to sell them would be to pick them up at the box office and then sell them on the spot, hence the lack of tickets on StubHub.
  24. The price of my red eye on Sunday went up $200 in the last day. Not looking good for me :(
  25. It looks like 1iota is falling behind... I haven't heard of any winners on here or Twitter
