Some people may hate me for saying this, but when ever i see the lead singer of snow patrol sing live, he is terrible. I saw him at the NME awards last night on TV and he was pretty terrible, especially compared to other great singers. I must say he is good on record, but not live IMO. I also think that Embrace's lead singer is terrible live, but good on record. Please dont hate me hehe

Its OK, not as good as Maybe Tomorrow, and even earlier stuff. Maybe it will grow on me, am i right in saying that the lyrics near the end are also on a previous song off the last album "so take a look at me noowwww" i thinks thats how it goes.

What is your earliest Coldplay moment, that got you into them? such as a Song on the radio, or seeing them on Jools Holland or somthing. Mine was hearing Trouble on the radio. Sorry if this has been asked before.

It is certainy an excellent song that mirrors the final song on parachutes, Everythings not lost. I love a nice piano song! :)

EXCELLENT NEWS! its a pity its just sooooo hard to get tickets for glastonbury! but ill still try. It will certainly be worth watching live on BBC3 in the summer.

I think all the songs take a few listens to realise how good they are, with any album. I predict that there will be a few songs people dont like at first on the new album but after a while they will think its the best thing since sliced bread. I remember thinking politik wasnt my cup of tea at first, a week later it was on full blast on repeat!

Forver certainly sounds like a good thing to me aswell!

Just wondering who was at the October 2002 MEN Gig, i was there and remember it being superb, although the album was still pretty new so the songs were not as familiar, clocks hadnt been a hit by then, neither had god put a smile...... infact i think the only hit at that time was In My place. I remember MTV being there and heard that it was being shown on MTV either live or the day after, has anyone seen it? i Missed it and only heard about it after it was too late :(

yep clocks, but for me it hasnt made me hate it, i still love it, although sometimes dont get as excited when it comes on.

I dont particulary like anyone of them better, i think they are both great. The piano version certainy is very interesting to listen to, especially the first listen because of the curiosity of how it will sound without guitar. I hope there is just as much piano on the new album as there has been on previous albums, im a sucker for a good piano song, :D

May i just add that Moses is a great song, and its a pity it didnt get a general release on album or single, although maybe it may cum up as a B-side sumwhere in the futre, who knows.

I know its a kinda stupid question to ask, as no one will no the answer. But i was wondering if people really think this will be thier last album this summer, or do you think they will go on to last like U2, R.E.M or radiohead? I persoanlly think that they will probably last for a very long time, but there will always be big gaps between albums, and Chris will always say that it could be thier last, i think it would be a great shame to the music industry if Coldplay disbanded for any reason.

Me too! hehe, i rather like it, its not VERY different, but there are some noticable differences in it.

I suppose if its in your heart that u like them, then when the new album comes out you will instantly fall in love with them again.

I have always thought it is a marvolous song! I would definatly listen to it if it was covered. I especially like the part "and the truth is... i miss youuu sooooo, and im tireddddd, i shouldnt have lettttt you gooooo" :P

all interesting stuff, i havnt heard of alot of these stations, only the UK ones, Im actaully listening to Virgin radio now and Clocks is on! :lol:

Definatly Amsterdam from that list. But at the moment God put a smile..... is being played alot by me. Especially the live version, wow its just so good the end part when they really give it beans!
