" Birds '' Really stood out to me i wasn't except it at all to be like that My rank after first listen: 1- Birds 2- Amazing day 3- Everglow 4- AOAL 5- A Head Full of Dreams 6- Up&up 7- Hymn For The Weekend 8- Army Of One 9- Fun ( really Disappointed with this one :( ) IMO the album missing a mind blown song like Viva la Vida , Clocks , Fix you but in another hand it's one of the most balanced album so far 7/10

  18. i like this part from Q Magazine article " There is another song on A Head Full Of Dreams, called Everglow. It is a ballad in the classic Coldplay mould, and it’s about holding on to the warmth of the past even after something bad has happened. It’s quite obviously influenced by the split, and is also possibly the only break-up song in history to have the ex-other half on backing vocals. Paltrow sings two lines on it. “Everglow started from the idea that when something crazy happens to you, it’s strange that the world keeps rolling,” says Martin as we enter Primrose Hill park and a siren roars past. “I like the idea that at the end of most things, there’s something good to be found from it.” Martin got the concept from Paltrow, and she sings the lines that she originally said to him: “How come things move on/How come cars don’t slow”. “She came up with the idea so I said, ‘Is there any chance you’d sing that line cos it’s your idea?’ Like any human, she was like, ‘I can’t do that! I’m not a professional!’” i hope we get to hear it today
