  21. Well ladies and gentlemen of Coldplaying I am happy to announce that today is the one year anniversary of me joining this site and I would like to share with you some of my thoughts and opinions. I won't bore you too much! Before I joined here: I was a 16 year old boy who was gradually becoming more and more involved with music. I had recently bought a guitar and I was really getting into the whole music thing. Coldplay were my favourite band and had been for a good while but I was not hugely familiar with their history and intimate details. I knew enough to get by! Then I remembered a few months back I had seen this site and I went back because I was looking for pictures. Well I decided to become a member...what the heck. I was the only person I knew of who liked Coldplay enough to join something like this. I had a dream as well...to see Coldplay at least once if I possibly could anytime soon. Talk of a third album gave me some hope that I might sooner than I thought. So I joined and made one post. Then I didn't make another post until June after my dream of seeing Coldplay had come true. During those months that I didn't add to my first post the most incredible things happened in my life...I took the most important exams of my life up to this point, I made loads of new friends and went places I had never been. On the Coldplay front I was listening to any interviews on the radio and getting any promo stuff from the new album I could...KOKO gig, Talk leaked version etc...and then the tour was announced. I did the presale and went to Crystal Palace on the 27th June and the rest is history...so I came on here and made some posts...and some more...and some more...and here I am maybe not the fastest poster in the world, maybe not the most keen poster in the world but my god this site is just everything to me. People who like the same things, good people, honest people, funny people, people to brighten up those darkest of days...I guess I am trying to say what has been said a million times before by people but I would like to say a MASSIVE thankyou to anyone who has ever chatted to me on here, enjoyed my caption competition entries, seen my point of view, provided tabs, made me laugh, rated my avatar and signature, told me something about the band I didn't know before and just been themselves. Of course now I am no longer that 16 year old boy who was growing to like Coldplay...I am now that 17 year old boy who some of you will be saying "god he goes on a bit" but who absolutely worships and adores anything even remotely Coldplay related and all that they stand for. My dream came true twice as I went twice last year to concerts. Music is one of the most important things in my life now and I am so glad it found me! I think it is fitting that on my anniversary we are gradually hearing the first ever Coldplay recording...the legendary Ode To Deodorant...or at least I will be soon when Steph has finished sending it to me. :) So here is to the future everyone. I could create a thankyou list right now but you know who you are. Everyone on here who feels remotely the same as I do about Coldplay is a friend of mine...and long may it continue. :D
