if you send it via special delivery then you will have nothing to worry about, as that covers sending of cash etc, with an insurance value of 250, plus if its even a day late you can sue them for cash!

its either recorded or special delivery. Special delivery is the safer option but it costs about 3 quid more. Your choice, id reccomend special delivery as your fully insured that way
