Yes, I was in the AHFOD discussion as it happened! Coldplay soundchecked a new song from the album! (we are almost totally sure about it) Now. Here's my own crafted theory... Will this "new song" be the album opener? It's been stated that AHFOD will be the day to the night of GS! Maybe this will be the optimistic version of Always In My Head!!! Let me know.

HOLY SHIT! I wasn't too excited when the news first started coming... The music video news and stuff... But now I've learned that... A: this is a happy version of Always In My Head that will most likely be the album opener. I mean come on, it's the EXACT OPPOSITE of AIMH! and B: THAT THIS ALBUM WILL BE AMAZING!!!! NOW I'm excited. NOW I'm hyped and NOW I want this album to come out RIGHT NOW!

It's a song for a movie from 2014. Can't remember the name... It's called "Wish I Was Here", features lead vocals from Cat Power, brief background vocals by Chris and has a haunting solo. If this is what we can expect from AHFOD, maybe there is hope after all... Any thoughts? Have you heard it yet? EDIT: the movie is also called "Wish I Was Here" and stars Zach Braff.

Holy shit dude, I thought I was the only one that noticed that! I also noticed some other Pink Floyd lyrics in World Turned Upside Down that goes as follows: "Life that comes and everything under the sun." Reminds me ALOT of Eclipse from Dark Side. "Everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon." Or how about the Comfortably Numb influences in the chorus of Lhuna... Or the Gilmour influences in the guitar solo of Moving To Mars... Maybe Pink Floyd is a big inspiration to the Coldplay gang! :D

So recently there's been lots of funky stuff going on in the AHFOD-world... Personally I think it's cool, but to be frank, I'm a little afraid that it's going to be a re-hash of everything I disliked about ASFOS. They said that the record will be pop... I could be wrong though, maybe we're all in for a Mylo Xyloto Part II! Thoughts?

Alright, I'm back! With AHFOD getting closer and closer, I felt it was time for another top 6! This time I'm focusing on albums. We're going from "weakest" to "best". MAKE SURE TO EXPLAIN WHY. I'll start. 6. X&Y (not all tracks are that great IMO, the B-sides all rock though. Especially Gravity and TIDU) 5. Parachutes (good, but doesn't give as much eargasms as the others) 4. Ghost Stories (Great, but some songs fall kinda flat compared to GS's amazing B-sides) 3. A Rush of Blood to the Head (a great ride, but I don't listen to it that often. XD) 2. Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends (all songs rock! However...) 1. Mylo Xyloto is my favourite, because it relates to me more. Alright Coldplayers, let's hear 'em!
